Testimonials

“I would highly recommend Jeff if you are looking for a yacht broker to sell your boat.”

Jeff Sorgen was my yacht broker when I decided to sell my 53’ Amel Super Maramu sailing ketch. This boat is one primarily designed to sail around the world and, consequently, has a limited appeal to the majority of sailboat buyers making it difficult to sell. Jeff brought a wealth of knowledge not just specific to my boat, but to the world of boating in general. Jeff was also extremely helpful in locating a private dock at a reasonable cost where I could leave my boat safely given that I live 3,000 miles away from Fort Lauderdale. Furthermore, he was able to find a maintenance person qualified to look after my boat on a monthly basis. This last item was crucial for me as my boat is loaded with complicated and sophisticated systems that need to be fired up on a frequent basis to ensure they remain operational for prospective buyers. Jeff also arranged to have the boat interior re-arranged to ensure it showed in the best possible light. At one point his team did a video walk-through of the boat which showed it in the best possible light for on-line viewers. Jeff continually highlighted my boat in online advertising to make sure it got maximum exposure to potential buyers. I would highly recommend Jeff if you are looking for a yacht broker to sell your boat. He stayed with my boat and was able to find the perfect buyer for my sailing yacht. I was at one time prepared to advertise a lower price just to get rid of the boat, but Jeff provided guidance on the best pricing to get the best response from potential buyers. I feel confident recommending Jeff as an excellent choice to ensure you get the maximum sale price for your boat. He made the eventual sale a very happy day, indeed
