The Moonen 122 Martinique sold by Alex G. Clarke in December has reached a significant construction milestone. Hull nine in the Martinique series, designated YN207, recently had its steel hull and aluminum superstructure joined at Moonen’s shipyard in the southern Netherlands. With the two primary structures now united, outfitting can begin in earnest, including piping, mechanical systems, and the fully custom interior being developed with Vripack Yacht Design. Delivery to the American owners remains on schedule for January 2027.

The owners, an experienced American yachting family who have cruised aboard vessels from shipyards around the world, were drawn to YN207 for its semi-custom nature and long-range capability. The 37.4-meter (122-foot) fast-displacement yacht carries a best range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, making it well suited to the kind of unhurried, extended cruising the family has in mind.

The interior program is being shaped in close collaboration with Marnix Hoekstra and his team at Vripack, with the goal of creating a light-filled, serene environment that makes the most of the yacht’s 345 gross tons of volume. The layout will include a full-beam master stateroom, two VIP staterooms, and two twin staterooms, accommodating 12 guests in five cabins with seven crew. A main-deck galley and pantry sit outside the principal guest areas, keeping the flow of the living spaces clean. The sundeck spans approximately 700 square feet (65 square meters) and will feature a custom hot tub, making it one of the more distinctive outdoor decks in the Martinique series to date.

“The clients are super excited and have already been working closely with Marnix Hoekstra and his team at Vripack to assure this is the best Moonen Martinique yet to be delivered,” said Alex G. Clarke at the time of the sale. “I truly believe the end result is going to be a world-class yacht that the owners will enjoy for years to come.”
The sale of YN207 was the fourth Moonen to close in 2025 and reflected the shipyard’s growing momentum in the American market. Interest was sparked at the Monaco Yacht Show following the buyers’ visit aboard a 2023 Moonen Martinique. Moonen’s Global Sales Representatives Matthew Stone and Richard Gray represented the shipyard in the transaction, with Arrow’s Dan Willman and Hill Dickinson attorney Dominic Bulfin also playing key roles in bringing the deal together.

In related news, the tenth hull in the Martinique series, YN208, has entered the early stages of construction with delivery slated for June 2027. Prospective buyers looking to experience the Martinique platform firsthand can visit the seventh hull, AD ASTRA, at the upcoming Palm Beach International Boat Show, where the yacht will be on display.
YN207 is the ninth hull in Moonen Yachts’ 122 Martinique series. It is a 37.4-meter (122-foot) semi-custom steel motor yacht currently under construction at Moonen’s shipyard in the southern Netherlands. The yacht was sold in December 2025 to an American yachting family and is scheduled for delivery in January 2027.
Alex G. Clarke of Denison Yachting represented the buyers. Moonen’s Global Sales Representatives Matthew Stone and Richard Gray acted on behalf of the shipyard.
YN207 is being built at Moonen Yachts’ facility in Den Bosch, in the southern Netherlands. The steel hull was constructed separately before being joined with the aluminum superstructure at the yard, a standard milestone in Moonen’s build process.
The hull and aluminum superstructure were recently joined at the Moonen shipyard, a key construction milestone that opens the door for full outfitting to begin. Piping, mechanical systems, and the custom Vripack interior will now be installed over the coming months ahead of the January 2027 delivery.
The interior is being designed by Vripack Yacht Design, the Dutch studio known for its holistic, collaborative approach. YN207 will be the second Moonen 122 Martinique to feature a Vripack interior, following YN206. The design is described as a serene, light-filled environment built to maximize the yacht’s 345 gross ton volume.
YN207 will feature a full-beam master stateroom, two VIP staterooms, and two twin staterooms accommodating 12 guests. A main-deck galley and pantry are positioned outside the primary guest areas for a cleaner living space flow. The sundeck spans approximately 700 square feet (65 square meters) and will include a custom hot tub, one of the more distinctive features across the Martinique series.
The Moonen 122 Martinique has a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of approximately 14.5 knots, and a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. It is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines, each rated at 1,417 kW. The fast-displacement hull is built in high-tensile steel, pairing durability with efficiency.
The owners were drawn to the semi-custom nature of the build, the yacht’s long-range cruising capability, and the quality of Dutch craftsmanship. They were first introduced to the Martinique platform at the Monaco Yacht Show after visiting a previously delivered hull. The ability to work closely with Vripack on a fully customized interior was also a significant factor.
YN207 is the ninth hull in the Martinique series and the fourth Moonen sold in 2025. A tenth hull, YN208, has since entered the early stages of construction with delivery expected in June 2027. To date, no Martinique hull has appeared on the secondary market, reflecting strong owner satisfaction with the platform.
Yes. The seventh hull in the series, Ad Astra, will be on display at the Palm Beach International Boat Show through IYC. Ad Astra was delivered in 2025 and offers prospective buyers a firsthand look at the Martinique’s spaces, styling, and build quality.
