Stocking Stuffer? Besenzoni’s Collapsible Helicopter Platform

Adding a helipad to your yacht just got a whole lot easier, thanks to Besenzoni’s latest offering:

Besenzoni’s Helybase Concept is a self-leveling platform that is tucked under the sundeck of the yacht’s stern. Alternatively, the Helybase can also be converted to a putting green, to practice your short game at sea.

The platform can cover a surface of up to 60 meters (about 200′) and is also able to conceal itself under the sundeck on your yacht’s bow. Smaller models starting at 8 meters are also available.

The platform uses a petal-shaped structure to contract and expand. An electronic and hydraulic system can compensate for the ship’s inclination both longitudinally and transversally, meaning that the platform always maintains perfect horizontal positioning.

Made from a combination of titanium and carbon, the Helybase is designed for installation of yachts from 24-50 meters (79-164′).
