TrawlerFest Overview: Florida’s leading Trawler Boat Show, TrawlerFest 2011, is returning to Fort Lauderdale’s Bahia Mar Marina.

TrawlerFest is a series of Trawler-only Boat Shows owned and produced by PassageMaker Magazine. It is all about cruising on motorboats—the boats, the people, and the lifestyle. Founding Editor of PassageMaker, Bill Parlatore, captured it best when he wrote, “This lifestyle is about quality of life, self-sufficiency, economy of operation, modern conveniences, cruising capability, and true comfort aboard.”

At TrawlerFest, boating enthusiasts, specifically those with a fondness of trawlers, will find a boat show custom-tailored to their specific cruising passions, an educational opportunity that builds their skills as a mariner, and a party atmosphere that gives visitors an opportunity to share boating interests and cruising stories with fellow cruisers. All guests will also have the chance to meet and mingle with the editors and experts involved with PassageMaker magazine and TrawlerFest.
