Erik Mayol

My family and I first met with Erik Mayol when we walked into the Denison Newport Beach office asking about a diesel-powered boat between 40 and 50 feet long. Erik told us about a Sabre 48 SE that was located at the Long Beach marina. Having grown up in Newport Beach, and always having had boats, I had learned to be cautious when dealing with new yacht brokers. Erik was different from other brokers. What impressed us about him was the time he spent with the family making sure that the Sabre fit our needs and was not just trying to make a sale. Throughout the entire process, including after the purchase, Erik has been there for us. This included helping to get marine and engine surveyors, yard haulers, and electronics specialists who helped upgrade the boat’s navigation equipment. I cannot say enough about Erik Mayol and Denison Yachting and would recommend them without hesitation.

I just wanted to write to you about my recent experience with Erik Mayol as my broker. He was OUTSTANDING to us. We started with a single boat viewing with him for a blind call to him on a boat he had listed. That particular boat was already sold but he took the time to listen to us regardless about what we wanted and worked to find us a great boat. Along the way we nearly purchased another boat through him that was not the right fit for us for many reasons. However instead of pushing us into something that we werent comfortable with after a certain point, he put his own gains aside and listened to our concerns and supported us with all our decisions on it. Ultimately he found us the perfect boat and we could not be happier. He was above all else, concerned with our family as a whole and what was best for us, not what would make the best and quickest sale for him. I can say that the experience we had will help keep us in boating for a long time to come and a Denison customer as well.
