Testimonials

We listed our boat with Bill Mark of Denison Yacht Sales in February of 2018. Our boat was located at the Port Orchard Yacht Club, [in] Port Orchard, Wa. Bill worked with us every step of the way. He is very personable, efficient and professional. Since we are snowbirds, a lot of our business was done long distance and he always kept us informed on the status and progress of events surrounding the sale of our boat.

Testimonials

We are writing to tell you how much we enjoyed working with Bill Mark in our recent acquisition of a Grand Banks. We have been sailors for over 35 years in the San Fran Bay Area and cruising for the last 8 years up in the Northwest in our sailboat. We recently decided to move to a trawler for more cruising comfort.

Bill is very knowledgeable of both power and sailing vessels and was quick to recognize the changes we were looking for in our transition to a motor vessel and educated us as to the current status of the used boat market in our price range.

When we found a local Grand Banks we were interested in, he drove to the marina and walked through the boat first, giving his opinion on the condition of the boat which allowed us to determine whether to pursue it further. He accommodated our schedules, responded very quickly to all our calls and emails, provided an extensive list of boat surveyors after our offer was made and accepted, as well as bank financing referrals.  We appreciated his experience with the negotiations and the step by step process of the sales transaction including financing and title transfer.

Going above and beyond, he offered to deliver our boat from Lake Union to Gig Harbor since it appeared we might still be out of town when the transaction closed.  When the transaction did finally close, we were back home but Bill still insisted that he and his wife Kathy join us for the delivery from Lake Union to Gig Harbor.  They instructed and assisted us with getting through the Ballard locks and during the rest of the delivery we enjoyed sharing our respective boat experiences.  It was so helpful to have them there to assist us with docking our new boat at her new home.

In addition to all of his knowledge and experience, Bill has a great sense of humor.

When the time comes to sell, we would look first to Bill Marks to broker the transaction.

Testimonials

Bill.....it was just a week ago that we sold Olallie.  As you know, she was dear to our hearts after twenty-five years of sailing and it was hard for us to walk away even though we knew the time had come.  We wanted to take the time to thank you for helping us with this difficult process.

You were professional, yet friendly and helpful.  You communicated to us what was happening on a frequent basis, and that was very much appreciated as that hadn't been true of our past experiences.

We had every confidence in your passing on accurate and complete information and know how hard you worked to sell our boat.  And you were fun to be around!  So thank you for making this so much easier.  We wish you all the best.

Testimonials

I met Bill Mark while searching for my first boat. He was the listing agent for a boat that I thought met all my requirements. After thoughtful discussion he was honest in suggesting that there were other vessels on the market that better met my needs. Bill agreed to serve as my buyer’s broker and help me find what I was looking for. One of several yachts he arranged for me to see was the Nordhavn 50 I currently own and live aboard. Bill not only helped me find my beautiful Nordhavn but also took the time to familiarize me with her various systems. I can highly recommend Bill Mark as a very knowledgeable and professional yacht broker who always makes his client’s satisfaction his top priority.

I chose Bill Mark as my broker to represent me in my search for a Defever 49RPH. For me, his qualifications as a long time Defever owner and a member of the Defever Cruisers were hard to come by in Puget Sound.  I was not wrong in my choice. I found Bill to be knowledgeable and insightful. I also found him to be very patient as we drove many, many miles looking for the right boat.  Eventually, we found a 1985 Defever 49RPH named Eagle Den in Portland, OR. He was very instrumental in finalizing the transaction and continues to be not only a great resource for me today, but also a good friend. I have enthusiastically recommended him to others in their search for the right boat and I will continue to do so in the future.
