I rarely, if ever, write to a company to tell them about someone who goes above and beyond, because quite frankly, I don't come across it often.  As a Founder and CEO of multiple companies, it's amazing the mentality in today's workforce for people to do the minimum and expect maximum results.  This is not the case with my yacht broker, Mike Mahoney.   I'm not kidding when I reference Mike as a "Pillar of Excellence".  From my first interaction with him while inquiring about a boat and getting prompt responses, to the countless hours he has assisted getting the boat closed and ready for shipment, he has always overly communicated and provided top notch customer service.  He didn't have to help me with anything after the closing of the boat.  It's my responsibility at that point to take care of it all.  Doing this from a thousand miles away makes this extremely difficult.   He has taken my frustration with boat yards and truckers and turned it into an opportunity to gain a life-long customer.  His wisdom and references have helped throughout the process and he should not go unnoticed.   In a world of average, Mike is doing everything to achieve excellence.
