Codecasa Yachts
Codecasa boasts being one of the oldest family-owned superyacht builders in Italy. For the last 2 centuries, Codecasa has been busy building some of Italy’s finest luxury, military, and fishing vessels. Codecasa saw a big expansion in the 1970’s and 80’s of their motor yacht building capabilities. The addition of a new focus on luxury yachts and a new shipyard meant an expansion into an exploding market.
About Codecasa Yachts
Codecasa boasts being one of the oldest family-owned superyacht builders in Italy. For the last 2 centuries, Codecasa has been busy building some of Italy’s finest luxury, military, and fishing vessels. Codecasa saw a big expansion in the 1970’s and 80’s of their motor yacht building capabilities. The addition of a new focus on luxury yachts and a new shipyard meant an expansion into an exploding market.
In 2004, Fulvio Codecasa built a 34.6 meter open motor yacht named after his wife Maria Carla. He intended to make it the family’s boat but after much interest he decided to sell it and build another duplicate a year later. The yachts would become so popular that a new line called the Codecasa 35 would be introduced to the overall line up.
