JFA Yachts specializes in both sailing and motor yachts, including monohulls, multihulls and catamarans. Based in Concarneau, France, the shipyard handles full-custom and semi-custom builds as well as major refit and maintenance projects.
The shipyard is located in Concarneau in Brittany, France. Its facilities include covered build halls for yachts up to 50 m, a ship-lift with a 2000-ton capacity for units up to 65 m, and dedicated workshops for metalwork, mechanics, composite construction, varnish and cabinetry.
FA Yachts is proud of its boutique, “human-sized” culture and its ability to deliver bespoke quality. Since its founding in 1993, the yard has developed deep know-how in steel, aluminum and composite materials, and combines naval architecture, interior design and custom project management. In recognition of its craftsmanship, JFA was awarded the French “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” label (“living heritage enterprise”).
Yes, JFA Yachts has a full refit and maintenance capability. Over its history the yard has delivered more than 30 new builds and carried out over 40 refit/maintenance projects on both motor and sailing yachts of various materials (steel, aluminum, composite).
In 2025 JFA Yachts announced a sales partnership with Denison Yachting to bring its Long Island catamaran series (both sailing and power) more strongly into the U.S. market. The Long Island series features aluminum-hulled, exploration-ready catamarans (Long Island 78, 86, 87) designed for global cruising.
