While docked behind the owner’s apartment building vandals stole the entire $70,000 Raymarine electronics package on the main helm station and the 3 lower units on the 350hp Yamaha outboards.

Besides stealing these components, no further damage was done to the upper units of the outboards or the gelcoat as the entire console was removed & the wiring cut clean.

Estimated repairs are $25,000 to replace the 3 lower units on the outboards + installation of a new electronics package ($50,000 or less).

Considering that the yacht will sell on an ‘As Is Where Is’ basis for roughly $200,000 + $75,000 invested into the boat the end result is that you are left with a $625,000 boat for far less than half her current market value.

This Luhrs was built as the personal boat for the shipyards president, only the best materials were used and every option available was included in the build. It’s a bulletproof fishing boat with all the equipment to stay days and weeks out on the water, without any need for a marina.

The vessel was brand new in 2009. It has factory warranty on the hull till 2012, and factory warranty on the engines (included an extended one) till 2014.

The purchase is as is with the lower units missing on all three engines and the driver’s helm missing with all the controls and electronics. It still has one Raytheon Unit on the bridge (not stolen).

Mentionable: The boat has a yacht quality $45,000 dinghy with launch boom, a desalination osmosis plant that produces 20 gallons of fresh water in an hour. It has a dive tank compressor filling station. Solar panels that charge the double battery banks (had and additional high capacity 3-battery bank installed).

The boat new was $528,000 and had $100,000 in extras installed. It was for sale now for $625,000 and we would have taken a firm offer of $550,000.

Taking the damage into consideration, a fair offer would be $200,000 (if the equipment is replaced the way it was, it will probably be $50,000) making it THE BEST vessel for the money in the market. To move it before the end of the year, $180,000 will most probably also do it.
