Nova Marine was founded by CEO, Eddy Tao, in 1983 in Taiwan and markets its yachts under its own brand name, Novatec. Recognized as a top manufacturer of luxury yachts in Taiwan, Nova’s primary market is the United States, but they have distributed over 1,500 yachts worldwide.

Novatec's production line includes three main yacht series: Classic Sedan, Islander, and Euro. Nova’s most popular models are its 40 and 42-foot motor yachts.

World famous naval architects and designers, Bill Dixon, Tommaso Spadolini, and Carlos Mezzera have assisted Nova in developing a variety of models ranging from 40 to 84 feet.
