21' Riva 1961 Emilia

Clayton, NY, US

Previously Asking $110,000

Off Market

Description

This is a rare opportunity to own and do some light cosmetic work to a Riva Ariston. These boats trade well into the $ 150,000 area usually and this would be a great opportunity to enter into a worthy effort to bring this fine boat back to bristol condition. The Ariston model was Carlo Riva's favorite, as he felt that his dream was captured in every way and only 1,012 of these were built over a 25 year period. Hull # 338 21’, Few hours on Rebuilt Chevrolet Marine 454. Riva Accessories include the convertible top, sun cushion, flag, swim ladder, new prop, interior and floor material. The original motor was Chrysler M-80 Sea-V, not with boat but they can be found reasonably if desired. The trailer is in a good roadworthy condition and fits the boat well. A great opportunity to own an Ariston below market value and complete cosmetic restoration.

History Of The Vessel

Carlo Riva's favorite model, the Ariston was one of Riva's longest running production models. The Series I Ariston featured a 21 foot hull that handles the water well and is exhilarating to captain.

This example is complete with many of its original Riva accessories, including the sun pad, convertible top, flag, and swim ladder. She has been repowered with a GM 454 engine. In Bristol condition, the Ariston model trades in the $150,000 range.

This is an opportunity to purchase an Ariston needing cosmetic restoration, far below market value.
