The Midnight Lace 44 is the boat that put Tom Fexas on the map. The prototype was introduced at the Fort Lauderdale boat show in 1978 and it nearly stole the show. Based on the elegant commuter style boats of the 1920s, she is a state of the art blend of light-weight cored construction and an efficient 'piercing' hull form with a narrow beam, a well-flared bow and tightly rounded bilges. She is a remarkably classy and efficient boat.
DRAGON LADY has been very well cared for by her fastidious owner. She has been kept under cover and on a lift for most of her life span and always operated in brackish water. The original engines have been replaced by the reliable Yanmar 4LH-STE's and she is one of the few existing models to be conveniently fitted with a Bow Thruster.
DRAGON LADY has recently undergone a restoration upgrade on her beautiful woodwork, as well as paint upgrades and the addition of a new fridge.
The owner will be moving up to a bigger boat and will be looking at all reasonable offers.
