The Viking V50 is a finely crafted yacht with more interior volume and elbow room than most European sport boats her size.  

She rides on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a relatively wide beam and shallow prop pockets to reduce draft. 

Her interior includes two double cabins with ensuite heads, a concealed galley, and a U-shaped dinette in the salon.

 Both heads contain stall showers, and privacy doors— not curtains—separate both staterooms from the main cabin. 

Contoured seating topside provides seating for six in the cockpit, and a three-person sun pad aft rises at the touch of a button to reveal a tender garage below. 

Note that a machinery space behind the engine room houses the generator, batteries and steering gear. 

Additional features include a teak cockpit sole, a drop-down double helm seat, wet bar with refrigerator, radar arch, windshield washers, and a well-arranged engine room with good access to the motors.

• Headliners replaced in 2015 with most lights changed to LED

• Bolsters in staterooms replaced with gray, synthetic suede

Zodiac Tender:

• The Zodiac tender is a 2016, bought new in late 2017.  The 9.9 hp Yamaha is a healthy, unstoppable two stroke with closer to 15hp and flies with 3 people aboard. The 9.9 Yamaha has a new impeller and spare prop.  The Zodiac tender shows like new as it is stored inside the garage of the boat

As mentioned the almost stand-up engine room houses the Volvo D12s (12 liters each) at 700hp each, dripless shaft seals, electronic shift ZF transmissions as well as an oil change system for both mains and the generator. 

Note that a machinery space behind the engine room houses the 9.5 KW Onan generator, batteries, newer hot water heater, battery chargers, steering gear, storage for the NEW 100 foot 50amp shore cord and the spare props.  The spare props are original from factory and serve as an extra set.

A unique feature of the V50 is the Besenzoni passerelle. When extended the passerelle and its handrail make stern-to boarding easy.  It rotates and stores in the tender garage when not needed, but also serves as a davit to lift the tender into the water. It has the capacity to lift a small jetski, depending on weight, onto the swim platform if desired.

Thunderball has been cared for by her current owners and has easily navigated much of the Bahamas.  A large touch-screen Garmin provides navigation and radar,  XM radio and weather too (with subscription). An autopilot makes operating the boat easy as does the powerful bow thruster. Communication domes can provide both Satellite TV (receiver included) and telephone if desired.

During this time, she has also had many upgrades.
