BIG EYES is a tournament rigged sport fisherman with a full tuna tower. She has enjoyed a rigorous maintenance and upgrade program throughout the years and represents a great value in today's market. The 52 Hatteras is a proven fish raiser as well as a comfortable cruising vessel. BIG EYES has the preferred three stateroom, two head layout with the galley on the main deck and a spacious salon. Upgrades include granite counter tops, under counter commercial refrigeration and a built-in computer work station.
All exterior windows have been rebedded and replaced with tinted tempered glass with new aluminum window frames.
The cockpit offers a fishing platform of over 153 sq. feet of non-skid fiberglass including a 30" transom gate and a large, flush deck insulated fish box. There is a teak Pompanette International fighting chair mounted in the center of the cockpit. The forward starboard console features a wet sink, bait cutting area and tackle storage. Engine room access from the cockpit is also incorporated into the starboard console. The port console offers additional tackle storage.
The flybridge is accessed via a stainless steel ladder forward to starboard in the cockpit. The centerline helm station is positioned to provide maximum visibility. There are Pompanette cushioned helm and companion chairs as well as overhead electronics boxes and chart storage locker on the port side of the helm. Built-in seating with cushions and storage beneath is forward of the helm console.
The interior features Afromosia teak joinerwork and large windows that provide ample light in the main salon and galley areas. The salon is furthest aft and features and L-shaped leather sofa to starboard and a rattan cushioned chair facing a fold-down work station to port. Forward of the salon to starboard, is the on-deck galley with contrasting maple wood cabinetry. Across from the galley is a built-in booth style dinette.
Forward and down three steps through a generous companionway are the accommodations. The master stateroom is located midships on the starboard side, featuring a queen size berth, a full size cedar lined hanging locker and private en suite head with stall shower. Adjacent to the master on the port side is another guest stateroom, featuring over/under bunks, hanging locker, and private access to the port head with stall shower. The third guest stateroom is located all the way forward. This stateroom also features over/under twin berths, hanging locker, ample built-in storage, and private access to the port shower and head.
