Walking up to Bald Eagle you see a yacht that is much bigger than her 58 model designation; she carries the space of a much larger yacht. The entry on board is via the large swim platform with steps to either side or through the side entry door on port ot starboard. A step platform and Marquipt Seastair are also available for easy entry.
The aft cockpit is designed with the yachtsman in mind; ease of access, plenty of room to bring guests and supplies onboard, and ready for a relaxed, comfortable day on the water. This is a very protected space, fully covered by custom extended upper boat deck. Side doors leading forward around the deck and added custom roll up shades all around; this owner spends most of the time aboard back here.
This cockpit was designed by the owner to make better use of the space allowing for an extra large teak dining table. Easy room for eight at the table. The storage cabinet to starboard has a sink and also houses the aft docking station.
Stepping through the doors into the salon, the openess is kept with large windows all the way through. Marlow captures the mixture of modern space and nautical design. The high gloss teak and holly floors are gorgeous. The clean white L-shaped sofa and twin barrel chairs are welcoming and comfortable. To port is the 50" TV with Sonos soundbar. The first of two wine cabinets are here.Tto starboard is the bar with storage underneath.
Having to "go below" to get out of the heat or weather is hardly a comprimise here.
Four steps up from the salon is the galley and dinette. Marlow's designers understand we want to experience as much of the water when we are on board, even down below. They hold true with this open, useful room. Taking up a large part of the deckhouse, this space is a focus for this yacht. Once again, the windows keep the view all around. The two side entry doors give easy access forward or aft.
The U-shaped galley is well laid out and designed for the chef. All stainless steel apliances including two sets of Sub Zero drawer refridgerator/freezers and Fisher Paykel dishwasher, and full Dacor oven.
Elimating the need for a lower helm station, the dinette spreads across the width of the boat. Twin teak tables sit in front of the U-shaped benches under the forward windshield. The tables come together with swing up leaves to form a full dining table. Privacy is provided by automated Oceanaire blinds on the windshield and manual on the other windows.
Cabinets and drawers fill every open space with added storage under the bench seats that extends under the deckhouse creating big dry stores.
The semi-enclosed command bridge on Bald Eagle is a 3/4 hard enclosed house with EZ2CY enclosures across the back making this a fully enclosed, air conditioned, dry flybridge. Fully air conditioned, an extra 22,000 BTU handler was added to this space. Built for the serious yachtsman, she's ready for navigation and control.
Twin Stidd helmseats are behind the stainless steel wheel. Behind to port is a lounge bench seat and to starboard is a nice L-shaped settee with teak table.
The bridge deck aft is accessed through a hard door or via the stairs from the aft cockpit. There is a sliding door over the stairs to ensure safe cover. The bridge deck is equipped with an enclosed cabinet to port with sink and an electric raising gas grill. Starboard is a large storage cabinet and drink fridge. Plenty of room for the tender or jetski and a large dockbox for storage. The Marquipt 800 is available to launch the toys. Racks are on the roof for paddleboards and kayak.
When the toys are off the boat, there's a large sunshade to cover the whole aft deck. Anchored to two carbon fiber poles, they're light weight and strong.
Triple Garmin 8622 Multi Function Displays dominate the dashboard. Fully outfitted Garmin radar, autopilot, depth sounder.
Down from the galley towards the stateroom is a lower landing. The hallway contains linen closet/laundry cabinet. There is a cabinet holding the front loading GE washer and dryer units. Under the cabinets in the second Uline wine chiller.
Step aft from the companionway through double doors into the Master Suite. The centerline queen bed is surrounded by beautiful teak cabinetry with the teak and holly floors engulfing the room in rich wood. Hanging lockers and eight drawer chests are on both sides providing ample clothes storage. Designed to be thier "condo on the water," it was important to have home comfort. To port behind the bed is the full walk-in closet with makeup table.
This model year has the large portlights covered by Oceanaire electric blinds
The ensuite head is behind the room to starboard.
Forward is the VIP stateroom. The teak abounds here, as well. The centerline full bed is topped with twin bunks adding sleeping space or storage for the guests. Hanging lockers are on both sides of the room and four drawers are underbed for lots of storage.
This stateroom has ensuite head access.
This stateroom has side by side berths, hanging locker, wash sink with Zeus Blanco Silestone counters and drawer storage. Large portholes allow natural light to brighten the room.
Wash Sink with glass medicine cabinet
The Marlow design comes through in the use of the crew quarter. As a mid-engine, straight shaft yacht, the space available for crew is massive. Accessed down the hatch under the aft cockpit bench seat or through the lazarette, there's a single and double berth. Nicely finished with teak and holly floor, there's storage for the crew as well as additional stores for the yacht.
A Kenmore 5 cubic foot freezer is under cabinet.
The crew have a private head with access into the engineroom through the head.
Behind the crew quarters, the engineering space houses the mechanicals for the ship. Access to the Quick Gyro stabilizers, shorepower cable reels, hydraulics, etc. are all accessed in this space. The extra large transom garage door opens for easy access into this space.
Accessed through the crew quarter, the engine room on Bald Eagle is a captain's dream. Easy access all around the Caterpillar C18's with 1150 HP. Over six feet in headroom and full walk around capability with easy access to major components, pumps and filters. The Sea chests are in the aft outboard corners.
The 21kw Twin Onan Generators are aft of the engines.
The single fuel tank is forward of the engines with a glass sight tube in the center for accurate readings.
