Here's a beautiful 73 Horizon motor yacht with all the extras and captain maintained. 1000 hp Cat C-18s, two generators, stabilizers, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, factory hard top, air conditioning/heat, 4 flat panel TV's, surround sound system, complete electronics with four Furuno 14" NavNet TZ14 screens. You won't find a better priced 73 Horizon anywhere.
Board on the huge aft deck/dive platform that serves as a cockpit when underway and sun deck when anchored. Up 4 steps either side to the over-sized covered Cal deck where there is a solar glazed sliding door for entrance to the salon or curved stairway for flying bridge access.
The entire boat is finished in a beautiful satin Macore (ribbon cut Mahogany). The salon has an L-shaped settee to starboard with hi-low table and faces a 37" flat panel TV and stereo surround system, to port. There are also a pair of club chairs that can pull up to the table for inside dining or be left to port for just visiting. Further forward is the galley to starboard with inside stairs to the bridge, port. The roomy dinette is forward of the galley and just behind the lower helm. A full compliment of electronics and Stidd Helm chair is on center. Stairs to port lead down and forward to the lower companionway serving master, aft, twin guest, starboard and VIP guest, forward. The master is full beam and features a queen master berth, walk-in hanging locker to port and entrance to the master head, starboard. The master head has double sink vanity in marble with Headhunter head and large stall shower in a separate room toward center.
The double guest is forward of the master to starboard and features a double berth. There is a stacked washer and dryer forward of this stateroom and handy to all three forward staterooms.
The VIP guest is all the way forward and has direct access to the guest head with granite vanity and floors, head hunter head and large stall shower.
The galley is open to the salon and forward to the dinette and lower helm. It has U-shaped granite counters with all GE profile appliances in Stainless steel.
One feature of the 73 Horizon is the huge dive platform. The bottom of the vessel continues all the way beneath this "deck" and it is dry when underway. The Cal-deck is also very large for a boat of this size. The Cal-deck table seats 6 for dinner as does the table on the flying bridge.
The 1000 hp Caterpillar C-18's have been captain maintained. The engine room has 6'5" head room and one can almost walk around the engines. The generators are outboard with cabinets above for water maker to one side and Air Conditioning units on the other. All deck systems, Windlass, Davit, thrusters and stabilizers are hydraulic.
An updated version of the company’s original 70-foot motor yacht (1998–2003), the Horizon 73 Motor Yacht features a redesigned superstructure with elliptical windows for a sleeker, more stylized look. Built on a low-deadrise hull with a wide beam, the open interior of the Horizon 70—with its mirrored salon ceiling and high-gloss cabinetry—rivals that of a much larger yacht. Horizons are semi-custom boats, so each interior will differ depending on a buyer’s requirements. Most 73s incorporate a three-stateroom interior, with a full-beam master suite, VIP stateroom forward, a mid double berth as well as crew quarters aft. The galley and dinette are on the pilothouse level where a curved staircase provides direct flybridge access. Doors from the pilothouse provide quick access to the wide side decks, and twin staircases lead from the afterdeck down to the extended swim platform with its crew-cabin access door. A hardtop, bow and stern thrusters, and teak decks are standard, and the flybridge is large enough to stow both a dinghy and jet ski.
