Proven to be a bluewater ocean going cruiser, this boat was purchased new by the seller in Singapore. After living aboard for 5 years in Singapore, he has sailed the boat from Singapore to the US. The boat cruised the Phuket/Andaman area for 2 years, after which time it was sailed to the Maldives, Seychelles, South Africa, Namibia and Brazil.
In 2017 the boat won the Neptune Race to the Equator, it took 10 1/2 days from Phuket to the Maldives, and the Maldives to the Seychelles in 6 1/2 days. The highest daily average acheived was 224nm averaging almost 10 knots downwind! One could be forgiven for thinking the boat is new, given the high standard of maintenance on an ongoing basis. Nothing has been neglected or ignored, and the knowledgeable owner has understood that safe sailing requires diligent care. The seller is offering the boat a new home which will please and delight from the moment one steps aboard.
