The 800 is being built to adhere to customer requests from all over the world for the various uses that are preferred in a broad range of countries across the globe. This grand yacht design is the success of the marine industry's cutting-edge engineers and is being crafted by marine professionals who are committed to maintain the ride and standards of excellence that Bertram is known for. The 800 will feature new advanced forward and hull window design that is constructed with multiple layers of tempered glass. The forward window design actually brightens the interior of the salon while the hull windows are reinforced directly into the fiberglass hull for optimal hull strength. This state of the art window technology was exclusively designed and tested by Advanced Yacht Technology to resist the roughest fishing conditions across the oceans.
At high speeds, the rapid formation and collapse of vapor pockets from the water can cause cavitation, a common cause of structural damage to propellers for any boat manuacturer Websfacturer. AYT has successfully identified how to modify the struts in order to dissipate cavitations, thereby minimizing maintenance issues, gaining better fuel economy and enhancing engine performance. The 800 will also feature the exclusive ARG (Anti-rolling Gyro) technology, which suppresses rolling motion and reduces rolling angle by up to 50 percent, which will enable guests to enjoy a smoother and more pleasant ride.
This vessel will be built for supreme sport fishing and Bertram is known to make fishing a comfortable experience, providing a fully equipped yacht for every fisherman's needs. Longitudinal fish boxes will be placed next to the fighting chair to easily store any catch of the day and larger rod locker storage on the port side will be incorporated under the spiral staircase for access from the cockpit mezzanine area.
In order to maximize all space on board to create more comfortable living space in both the interior and exterior of the yacht, the 800 has been designed with a generous, extended cockpit that provides ample space for a plethora of activities or entertainment on board. The cockpit is configured for an "L-shaped" mezzanine lounge seating with a fixed cockpit table, becoming an essential entertainment and relaxation area. A supplementary day head will also be integrated into the main salon level for easier entry for guests from the cockpit.
This yacht will be endowed with beautiful white oak wood as a standard and optional exotic African mahogany for the interiors. The ultra luxurious full beam master will offer sweeping views of the open ocean with large porthole windows, which surround the master suite. The 800 will feature a four cabin layout and will offer multiple layout options for the master staterooms than can be customized upon request. This layout offers multiple crew cabin quarters that can also be modified to accommodate separate male and female crew quarters. The first, an aft crew cabin for two, can be accessed from the cockpit with additional entry to the engine room. The second optional crew cabin is located forward of the galley, which is perfect to accommodate a hostess, butler or personal chef. For those who would rather opt for extra storage space, this optional crew cabin can also be converted into a large walk-in pantry.

Bertram designers provide owners with some interesting choices for the interior of the Bertram 800: a galley in the forward starboard quarter of the salon while a full dining table with seating for six occupied the port side. On this boat, a private cabin just forward of the galley accommodated a chef or nanny. The interior of this Bertram is light and airy.
Opposite the day-head in the salon, a semicircular stairway gives access to the enclosed flying bridge — more secure than a cockpit ladder. Bertram skybridges seem to look better the larger the boat gets. It fits this hull beautifully, rather than looking like an add-on. You can benefit from the elevated viewpoint without needing to climb a slippery tuna tower. The enclosed bridge is where the Bertram’s seaworthiness and handling are most apparent. Bertram chose Pompanette’s Platinum series helm and companion seats.
An aft helm station is located on the overhang outside the centerline door, affording an excellent view of the after half of the cockpit. But there’s no direct cockpit access from there — the helmsman must go back inside and down the interior staircase.
Descend the stairs at the forward end of the salon to find the accommodations. Bertram customizes every boat’s master stateroom — owners can shape it to their needs. In-hull portlights dispense with the cave-like feeling common in the midship masters of many convertibles, while electric drapes provide dockside privacy. Other accommodations include two en suite double staterooms, the starboard with double berth. The port stateroom has twin berths and is a great spot for fishing buddies along for the trip. The large guest stateroom in the bow has an island berth and private head. An alternative layout puts three single berths in the bow, giving owners choices to best suit their needs. The guest staterooms capitalize on what is often dead space to provide superb stowage.
