The PRINCESS V78 is a 24-metre open boat. Built in the second half of 2010, she was delivered and registered in 2011.

The V78, a very successful model from the English shipyards PRINCESS, offers excellent space and accommodation both inside and outside: the large saloon and the comfortable and well-designed aft area, the 4 guest cabins, with the full beam master cabin, allow ARAMIS to provide excellent accommodation for 8 people when cruising and for 12 people plus crew during day trips.

Equipped with two powerful Caterpillar engines of 1,825 hp each, she is able to reach a maximum speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots with fuel consumption ranging from 250 to 450 litres/hour. These speed and fuel consumption performances have been achieved thanks to the boat's excellent power-to-weight ratio.

All equipment, furnishings and fittings on board, the Novamarine tender and numerous toys including 2 Sea Bobs are sold together with the boat and are included in the price.

REFIT

Over the years, a lot of work has been carried out both on new accommodations and improvements to existing ones. The most important works have been over time: - conversion of the crew cabin with the third berth - arrangement of the second generator - modification of the galley with closure of the galley and upgrading of its facilities. In 2019, Caterpillar carried out a complete overhaul of the two engines with the replacement of almost all their components including the cylinder heads (documentation available). In the same year, the electrical/domotics/board management system was overhauled with replacement of equipment and cables and the entire toilet system was also completely replaced. Subsequently, the deck teak was replaced with solid teak. Every year improvements were then carried out from stowage systems in the bilges to strengthening the bow and stern mooring systems and replacing upholstery.

MAINTENANCE

Always stored under cover during the 6 winter months, the criterion of keeping her constantly at peak technical and aesthetic efficiency was scrupulously followed by the professional crew and the best technicians in the Olbia area

During these periods, the main engines were serviced every year by CATERPILLAR Olbia mechanics, with all original parts replaced when necessary.

The same for the generators and all the other equipment of the various on-board systems from electrical and electronic equipment to air conditioning and hull valves.

Il V78, modello riuscitissimo dei cantieri inglesi PRINCESS, offre eccellenti spazi e sistemazioni sia interni che esterni: l’ampio salone e la confortevole e ben studiata zona di poppa, le 4 cabine ospiti, con la cabina armatoriale a tutta larghezza barca, permettono a ARAMIS di assicurare ottima ospitalità per 8 persone in crociera e per 12 persone oltre l’equipaggio durante le uscite giornaliere.

Fornita di due potenti motori Caterpillar di 1.825 CV ciascuno, è in grado di raggiungere una velocità massima di 38 nodi ed una di crociera di 26 nodi con consumi che variano dai 250 ai 450 lt/ora. Queste prestazioni di velocità e relativi consumi sono state ottenute grazie all’ottimo rapporto peso potenza della barca.

Tutte le dotazioni, arredi e suppellettili di bordo, il tender Novamarine e i numerosi giochi compresi 2 Sea Bob vengono venduti insieme alla barca, e sono compresi nel prezzo.

REFIT

Nel corso degli anni si sono svolti molti lavori sia relativi a nuove sistemazioni che volti a migliorare quelle esistenti. I lavori più importanti sono stati nel tempo: - trasformazione della cabina equipaggio con la terza cuccetta - sistemazione del secondo generatore – modifica del locale cucina con chiusura della stessa e potenziamento delle sue strutture. Nel 2019 è stata effettuata dalla Caterpillar la revisione completa dei due motori con la sostituzione di quasi tutti i componenti degli stessi comprese le testate (documentazione a disposizione). Nello stesso anno si è provveduto al rifacimento dell’impianto elettrico/domotica/gestione di bordo con sostituzione di apparecchiature e cavi ed è stato sostituito completamente anche l’intero sistema WC. Successivamente è stato sostituito il teak della coperta con tek massello. Ogni anno sono stati poi effettuati lavori di migliorie dai sistemi di stivaggio nelle sentine al rafforzamento dei sistemi di ormeggio di prua e di poppa, alla sostituzione delle tappezzerie.

MANUTENZIONI

Sempre rimessata al coperto nei 6 mesi invernali, si è seguito scrupolosamente il criterio di mantenerla costantemente al massimo dell’efficienza tecnica e dell’estetica da parte dell’equipaggio professionale e dai migliori tecnici della zona di Olbia

Durante tali periodi sono stati eseguiti ogni anno i tagliandi dei motori principali dai meccanici della CATERPILLAR Olbia con sostituzione di tutti i pezzi originali quando necessario.

La stessa cosa per i generatori e per tutte le altre apparecchiature dei sistemi vari di bordo da quelle elettriche ed elettroniche, all’aria condizionata, alle valvole a scafo.
