This 2001 Cruisers Yachts 3780 Express, "Cloud Nine," is a documented lifetime Great Lakes freshwater vessel located in Harrison Township, Michigan. Combining a wide beam with a thoughtful mid-cabin layout, this express cruiser delivers an exceptionally spacious interior and stable offshore performance ideal for extended regional cruising. The vessel has been meticulously maintained and features low hours on its dependable inboard propulsion systems, ensuring reliable operation for its next owner. Engineered for comfort and versatility in northern waters, the boat comes fully equipped with a complete camper canvas enclosure, a marine diesel generator, and multi-zone climate control with air conditioning and heat. The comprehensive electronics suite includes an autopilot system, depth sounder, and radar to simplify navigation across open water. Down below, the accommodations boast a full galley, a generous salon seating area, a private forward master stateroom, and a flexible mid-cabin layout that comfortably hosts family and guests for weekend excursions.
POWERBOAT GUIDE DESCRIPTION: The sleek lines of the Cruisers 3870 Express (called the 3870 Esprit in 1998–99) masks one of the more innovative interiors seen in a boat of this type. A scaled-down version of the company’s 4270 Esprit (1998–2003), what’s notable about the floor-plan of the 3870 is her unique amidships stateroom with its standup dressing area, built-in TV, and a private head with shower. The wide-open salon includes a convertible sofa/dinette and a full-service galley with all the amenities. A draw curtain separates the forward island berth from the main cabin, while a bulkhead door ensures privacy in the aft stateroom. Notably, the main head contains a separate stall shower. Topside accommodations include an L-shaped lounge opposite the helm, a U-shaped seating area aft, and a built-in wet bar to port. A hatch in the cockpit sole provides access to a rather
compact engine compartment, and the deep swim platform is designed to support a personal watercraft. Early models with twin 310hp MerCruiser 7.4-liter gas engines (with V-drives) will cruise at 18 knots (mid to high 20s top), and more recent models with the 370hp MerCruiser inboards will top out at around 30 knots.
