Coquina Boat | 36' Hinckley 2001
COQUINA is among the finest examples of the Bruce King designed Picnic Boat Classic - the yacht that defined an entire category. This 2001 Flag Blue 36' Hinckley turns heads in any harbor and is fresh from a Hinckley YachtCare maintenance program.
With fewer than 500 hours on her upgraded 440 HP Yanmar engine, she is exceptionally well-equipped with teak decks, anchor windlass, Stidd helm seat, Garmin electronics, and a Gen 3 IQAN 1.5 Hinckley JetStick system - setting her apart from nearly all of her peers.
A full set of custom Stamoid covers for the cockpit, pilothouse windows, hand rails and toe rails protects the boat’s brightwork from the elements and reduces ongoing maintenance costs. Unusual features for a classic picnic boat include the full teak and cherry package, marine blue countertop in galley, Ralph Lauren fabric upholstery, 2024 Stidd captain’s chair (navy blue Ultraleather cushions with contrasting white piping and a varnished teak ladderback), and modern Garmin electronics with a Bluetooth stereo. To augment the boat’s classic appearance, in 2025 the owner made extensive improvements including: new oversized Garmin electronics (GPSMap 8616xsv touchscreen high resolution chartplotter and new VHF), upgraded pilothouse headliner, new faucets in the galley and head, new hot water heater, new West Marine house and starter batteries, an engine refresh, and new cabling and software for the JetStick steering system.
The boat’s brightwork was also sanded down and finished with multiple coats of Epifanes varnish.
Fresh from her Hinckley YachtCare service package, COQUINA is truly turnkey and ready to go. Her topsides and deck have been professionally polished, the bottom freshly painted, and all filters and fluids replaced. Her jet service has just been completed, and she has been thoroughly inspected from stem to stern by our expert Hinckley team—ensuring she is fully prepared for her next adventure.
This combination of iconic classic picnic boat elegance and significant recent investments make this boat ready-to-go for the next lucky owner. Don’t miss your chance to own this stunning Hinckley 36 Classic Picnic Boat.
