The IJsselmeerkotter 15.50 came into service in 1964 and served as a fishing cutter on the IJsselmeer. After she came out of the fishing industry, she was converted to the current state as a sailing houseboat. The current owner has lived permanently on board for a long time. The boat is still company property and can therefore also be delivered ex VAT.
Upon entering through the aft deck you enter the kitchen diner. On the port side is an L-shaped sofa and on the starboard side the galley with all necessary equipment. Via a staircase you enter the wheelhouse from where you have a good overview of the entire ship. Down the stairs you enter a small hall with the cozy living room straight ahead in the bow, on the port side is the owner's cabin. Starboard next to the stairs is a space for the washing machine and here is also the toilet. Behind the stairs is the shower room.
The engine room can be reached via a staircase along the port gangway. Everything is clearly arranged and accessible for service. The Scania Vabis engine delivers 150 hp, which in combination with the rest of the powertrain gives more than enough power.
