Well maintained and ready to cruise to Alaska! TRANSFERRABLE MOORAGE!
Greymalkin II is one of the finest examples of the rare North Pacific 39 Pilothouse. This vessel has been professionally maintained and stored under cover for most of her life. Built for extended coastal cruising, you’ll find Greymalkin II to be large enough for months long voyages to Alaska, and small enough to easily manage and find great anchorages and space in marinas. Greymalkin II is powered by a reliable 5.9L Cummins diesel engine. A skeg extends from the keel and connects to the bottom of the rudder which offers great protection to the running gear.
Greymalkin II comes extensively outfitted and ready to cruise.
The covered moorage in Anacortes is available for lease.
Includes 2015 Walker Bay dinghy with console and 20hp Honda, on stern mounted electric davit
General Overview
The NP39 has a spacious, full beam salon with a large L-shape Settee on the starboard side, and galley to port. The salon is connected to the pilothouse via 3 steps, which makes the space feel open and bright, and offers excellent 360 degree visibility.
The galley on the NP39 rivals those found on many 60’ boats. There is a huge amount of counter space and lots of drawers and cabinetry. A three burner cooktop with oven is great for cooking and double sinks make cleanup easy. The 9 cu. ft Vertifrigo fridge/ freezer is the largest marine unit available. Under the floor is loads of additional storage.
With a comfortable helm seat and a long bench seat, the pilothouse offers the captain and crew comfort and nearly unobstructed visibility in all directions. Doors on both sides provide ventilation and access while maneuvering. The settee converts into a single bed.
Down 5 steps is the large stateroom and head. The head is comfortable and features a separate shower stall with a seat and opening porthole. The stateroom has an island bed, two hanging lockers and four drawers.
All NPs come standard with a flybridge and Greymalkin II is no exception. The flybridge is spacious and great for cruising and entertaining. Kayaks (included) are mounted on both sides for exploring an anchorage. The radar arch is hinged, as are the individual antennas. Prewired for starlink!
Countless hours were spent ensuring that all equipment and wiring runs are easy to access and maintain; something very important to experienced boat owners. Burning only 1.8-2GPH at 7kts the NP39 is also economical to operate and has a range of about 700nm with a 10% reserve.
