The first Beneteau 49 was built in 2007 at Marion, South Carolina, U.S.A.. According to Cruising World Review, "The Beneteau 49 seems well-built and quite comfortable for a crew of four. But that’s not really its main purpose; it’s meant to be a cruiser for a family or a pair of couples. And for that purpose, it’ll be superb. It’s one of the reasons it received Cruising World’s 2007 Boat of the Year award as Best Full-Size Production Cruiser."

Lady G ~ superbly clean lines, ease of movement in the cockpit, and her ergonomic inlaid teak cockpit seats will hold 8-10 people comfortably. She has an In-mast furling Main Sail, 140% Genoa, a wide side deck, a large deep storage area in the bow with ladder access, twin helms, electric primary winch, bow thruster, and a complete Raymarine electronics package with an autopilot that makes it easy to sail single or double-handed. She is powered by 76 HP Yanmar diesel engine with 515 hours.

Lady G is very special. From her previous owner to her current owner (both are meticulous and serious sailors), she has been maintained to the highest standards.
