The Celtic 40, previously known as the Admiral 40, is a robust Bluewater catamaran engineered to endure challenging open ocean conditions. Beyond its offshore capabilities, Celtic Yachts are designed to be easily managed by a small crew while providing excellent sailing performance and a comfortable living environment. Notable enhancements to the Celtic 40 include a redesigned helm station that facilitates ease of short-handed sailing, a new davit platform, a molded bimini ceiling, redesigned heads, more generously sized forward and aft cabins, increased locker space, extended salon seating, and a wider sliding door opening.

Constructed in South Africa, RONIN was sailed directly from the manufacturing facility to the United States by Tim Duncan, the owner and designer of Celtic Yachts. Her second owners acquired her new at a boat show and subsequently enjoyed several years of cruising on the Chesapeake Bay. Upon acquisition by her current owner, RONIN was equipped for Bluewater sailing, and she subsequently spent two years cruising the Caribbean.
