On the evening of July 20, the Cote d’Azur in the French Med provided the backdrop for the premiere of the new model of the Monte Carlo Yachts range. It proved to be an experience made unforgettable: the atmosphere of Monaco, the gala dinner and the new MCY 86 herself, a 26-meter flybridge yacht with sincere megayacht qualities.
A handpicked selection of yachting guests including boat builders, editors and journalists from some of the world’s top industry magazines joined top management from Monte Carlo Yachts and Groupe Bénéteau to celebrate the unveiling of the new MCY 86, the fourth model from the Monte Carlo Yachts range. T
he event was also attended by designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard and the team that oversaw the development of the yacht. After appearing in the open sea alongside a breathtaking full moon, the MCY 86 reached the private dock of Villa Key Largo at Cap d’Ail. Here, guests were able to get a closer look at the vessel, to the accompaniment of a performance by renowned violinist Saule Kilaite.
Once on board, all the guests expressed admiration for the design solutions, the quality of the decorations and the functional nature of the MCY 86, all elements that make the vessel comparable to a fully-fledged megayacht. Monte Carlo Yachts 86 will be presented to the public for the first time at Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes, from next 10 September. Alongside her, will also be the other MCY models from the range: MCY 76, MCY 70 and MCY 65.
Denison Yacht Sales, brand manager for Monte Carlo Yachts, Justin Onofrietti, was at the MCY86 premier in Monaco for the unveiling, along with Bob Denison.
“After the much acclaimed introductions of the MCY 76, 65 and 70 over the past two years it was incredibly exciting to be in Monaco to be of the first to premier Monte Carlo Yachts newest release in a line of magnificent yachts,” Mr. Onofrietti commented. “The MCY86 has been carefully planned to really set herself apart from anything available on the market today in her size range.”
Denison Yacht Sales, exclusively representing the Monte Carlo Yachts line of yachts in the United States, is currently stocking the MCY65 at the docks in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Contact Justin for pricing and availability on all MCY models: 954.770.5281.
