Denison is pleased to announce the sale of CURRENT EVENT, a 58′ Grand Banks trawler yacht, by Patrick Hopkins. She was listed with Steven Fithian at Grand Banks Yachts. 

CURRENT EVENT is a 2004 model Grand Banks Eastbay FB. She is one of the finest designs Grand Banks has ever made.

She has a custom three stateroom, two head layout, spacious salon area and large cockpit and features abundant storage in her large lazarette areas with plenty of room for a large table and several deck chairs in this area.

The flybridge is easily reached via the spiral staircase and features two Stidd helm seats, one double and one single, at the helm area, and very spacious and comfortable settees aft. She has very low hours on her Caterpillar 3412s (798 hours) as well as low generator hours.

CURRENT EVENT was delivered to her first owner in California, where she was very well cared for, and boats from the west coast always fare better due to the weather. She has just been launched and fully commissioned for the season. She has fresh bottom paint, varnish, detailing and engine services.
