It was my good fortune that Charlie Carricarte was the seller’s yacht broker for the boat I recently purchased. It was likely a small sale that many brokers would have passed on; but Charlie treated me as if it were a megayacht.
I could not get to Florida. Charlie took care of all the details that would normally fallen to me such as locating a rigger to decommission the boat, as well as handling all the shipping arrangements. Moreover, he personally delivered the boat to a yard for the survey haul-out, and again to a yard in preparation for truck transport to RI. Charlie was thoroughly responsive in every respect, and kept me informed every step of the way.
