POWERBOAT GUIDE REVIEW:
Packed with unique and innovative features, the Monte Carlo 6 offers something truly different in the midsize motoryacht market. Monte Carlo has a history of eye-catching designs as evidenced from the earlier Monte Carlo 4 and Monte Carlo 5 models. From the cockpit, large glass entry doors open to reveal a vast aft-galley interior with oversized windows, textured fabrics and nearly 7 feet of headroom. Forward and a single step up from the galley, the salon features a U-shaped lounge/dinette with longitudinal bench seating opposite to port.

Ahead, the showpiece elevated helm station has trackball and joystick controls, leather chair and a SmartCraft panel display. There are three staterooms and two full heads below including an opulent full beam master flanked by round hull windows. A VIP cabin with queen berth is forward and a guest stateroom with twin berths is in between. From unique pop-up deck lights, electric sunpads that magically rise from the flat foredeck to the aft crew quarters and hydraulic swim platform, the MC6 has it all. Cummins/Zeus 600hp pod drive diesels cruise at 20–22 knots (28 top). The Monte Carlo 6S is a hardtop version of this boat.

PRICE: From about $2 million.
