Aleks Taldykin

Aleks Taldykin has had a love of the water since the young age of twelve. The Los Angeles, California native started his career on the sea on commercial fishing boats, working his way to high-speed ferries and cruise ship tenders to Catalina Island. While passing the beautiful yachts up and down the coast, prompted him to acquire his Captain's license at nineteen to move his career further. 

At the age of twenty, he was hired as Captain of his first yacht in Cabo San Lucas. Since then, Aleks has accumulated over 55,000 nautical miles of experience from the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest, completing the "Great Loop", the Mediterranean Sea, and the warmer waters in the Caribbean. His experience pushed him to motor yachts up to 185’ in length and he currently holds a USCG 3,000GT Masters License. Transitioning from the commercial industry to yachting set forth the opportunity to start Elite Yacht Management in Southern California. Elite Yacht Management offers stress-free yacht ownership and charter management to their clientele. 

With his clients growing demand for larger yachts, he brought his experiences at sea into yacht sales in 2015 and joined Denison Yachting in 2019 specializing in large motor yacht sales. He has a vast knowledge of Yacht operation, management, engineering, refit, crew, and charter.

With more than 15 years of experience as a Yacht Captain, Aleks prides himself on giving his clients the absolute best service possible. Aleks is a personable, dedicated, and positive individual who is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that his clients are provided with a memorable experience on the water.
