Hey guys, Tony Smith with Denison Yachting, and today, we are on board an awesome boat. This boat is called BOLD and it’s bold for many different reasons. It’s 85 meters overall that’s 280 feet and this is a beast. Let’s walk on board, we’re going to show you around the boat

We’re going to start the tour on the aft deck. Here, what you’re going to see is we’ve got a massive beach club and this leads into a mechanical area. Now, this boat is really designed as a multi-function boat. It’s an explorer boat with extended range as well as it can go extremely fast. So this boat at 280 feet, can have a top speed of around 23-knots. At 17-knots, she can cruise for over 3500 nautical miles. Stepping down in here, we’ve got the beach club area and this has exercise equipment and really connects you with the ocean.

So we’re going to walk up onto the main deck. Here on the main deck, you’re going to see it has a massive platform. The side gunnels fold down when the helicopter comes in for a landing. Now as you’ll see this is a very very powerful and popular helicopter. It can be stowed on board when you’re doing a crossing.

As well this aft area, here is set up for three tenders that the BOLD has permanently on board. You see you’ve got a large crane there which will place the tenders onto the deck and then you fold the gunnels up when you’re making your crossing.

So on the port side here you’ll see we’ve got the large crane that’s used to move the tenders onto the main deck here. Underneath this area here, we’ve got an entertaining area with a large screen. It actually has a smoke machine, disco lights the whole nine yards.

And then what you’ll see is these windows all slide in the winter garden, as well as this complete section here, raises up approximately one meter. The reason they do that is when you’re making a crossing, you can store the helicopter inside this area functions as a garage.

Here in the garage, this is one of my favorite little areas. So this turns into a little party area like I said before, they do have the smoke machine, you got a large projection TV there as well as you have exercise equipment. So the crew has full rights to use the exercise equipment and this area again can be used as a social space but also very functional as a garage when you pull the helicopter in.

On the starboard side of the garage, we’re going to take the stairs upstairs and explore a little bit more. So here on the starboard side, we’re in a nice foyer area and you’re going to see several different foyers throughout the boat because the yacht has a staggered design.

Heading upstairs, we’re going to check out the winter garden and the raised salon. As you guys can see this is one of the busiest boats at the show here because it’s really making a great impression. Here’s the main salon, this is a raised area where you’ll see I’ve got multiple couches that are staggered.

I have a bar over on the starboard side as well as we have a large screen for entertaining. Port and starboard we have matching fireplaces on each side as well as we really make a big statement with these large windows that are practically floor to ceiling.

Now we’re going to swing all the way around the main salon and check out the winter garden to the aft of the boat. So back here in the winter garden area, you’re going to see this center part is what raises up to allow the helicopter to come into the garage. All these windows are actually sliding windows, so all this glass can be removed. With the windows open this area really connects you to the outside.

Over on the port, we have it set up for seating. Over on the starboard we’ve got a formal dining setup. This entire area is customized configurable however you like it. In addition to the sliding windows here, forward between the salon and the winter garden we have three large doors that slide out through this area to completely seal off the salon from the winter garden. From here follow me forward we’re going to check out the master.

Walking down into the master area you see on the starboard side here I’ve got a lovely L-shaped settee as well as I’ve got a centerline king-size berth. Now this is a really warm feeling area of the boat. I’ve got large windows on either side as well as I’ve got integrated storage on the aft bulkhead. We have a his and hers bathroom set up here on the port side, we’ve got a proper shower stall and then on the starboard side we have a tub and shower configuration.

So leaving our master, we’re going to head upstairs to the bridge deck. We’re going to stop and check out the bridge before we check out the bridge deck. Up here in the bridge, we have a lot of technology. We’ve got 7 different multi-function screens. They can all be controlled from your helm stations. You got a nice table here to plan things out as well as all of your controls centerline.

Now obviously this is a luxury yacht but it really does feel like a ship with how integrated and commanding it is. You’ll note that it has these forward windows here that are tilted forward so we have a really great view out to the surrounding water. On both the starboard and port sides, we have wing stations so we can control the vessel when you’re docking. Wrapping around the front, there’s even a Portuguese bridge.

Heading out from here, we’re going to lead out to the bridge deck that’s what I want to show you next. I don’t know if you guys can hear the music here but this is certainly the entertaining spot of the boat out here on the bridge deck aft. So what you’ll see is centerline we’ve got a huge table that’s set up for dining probably about 16 people.

On the forward bulkhead, we have a bar with dual basin sink, refrigeration – everything that you need to have this function as a summer kitchen outdoor galley area. So on the port and starboard, we have sliding glass doors that completely seals this area off. When it’s opened up we get a nice breeze that comes through but it’s really a nice contained safe area to dine outside.

Aft of our alfresco dining area, we’ve got this really awesome stylized furniture and then we’ve got a nice sail canopy set up. This area could be used either for entertaining but also you can launch and land your second helicopter from up here. So the boat can actually accommodate two different helicopters simultaneously.

Centerline we’ve got this really awesome canoe and this was actually built at the shipyard in Perth. So very beautiful canoe functioning as a table and it’s actually like living art here on the boat, really lovely. After this, we’ve got three chase lounges on either side. So you can relax out here and get some sun. Standing here on the aft of the BOLD, I really got to tell you if you haven’t been here to the Monaco yacht show, check out this view. This is truly amazing to be around so many superyachts and onboard such a lovely creation.

So walking forward here on our bridge deck, we actually have a couple more levels to explore. We’re going to walk up the stairs on the starboard and head up to the sundeck. So early in the tour, we said that we had a staggered design, this really comes through where you have a split deck here for your sundeck. In this area we’ve got a plunge pool that’s jetted in the middle this is really where you can lay around or you can head up to the raised portion where the environment changes completely.

So this is our raised portion of the sundeck as you can see I’ve got a couple of different lounging areas here. We’ve got a lovely table for dining outside. The area right now is covered with a sail that can be taken down but we’ve got the sail up for shade and then you’ve got two really cool L-shaped settees here. So you can lounge around, you can use the center table as a coffee table, and then at night time that converts into a fireplace.

Now at this point, you’ve seen the majority of the boat but we still have a lot of area to cover. We’re going to head on down to the bow of the boat as well as we’re going to check out the guest accommodation, the crew quarters, and the mechanical space.

280' Silveryachts BOLD

So up here on the bow, what you’re going to see is we’ve got this massive crane and why we have it is this area is used to store the emergency life raft. So you’ve got a large life raft that can come here can easily be launched as well as you can store one of the tenders up here.

On the starboard side, we have a whole garage area for the toys. And the side actually opens up and we can use the crane to get anything that’s heavy in and out of the garage. Up here on the bow obviously, we’ve got a very military look and feel for this boat. It stands out. I also want to point out these vertical windows. This actually gives you light and visibility right into his and hers ensuite head in the master.

280' Silveryachts BOLD

So walking down this companionway, we’re going to head in and check out the guest accommodations. So there’s a total of 7 guest staterooms, 4 are standard guests and 3 are VIPs. We’re going to check out the standard guests in the aft first. So what you’re going to see in the standard guest staterooms, we’ve got a really nice queen-size bed, some awesome artwork as well as on the outboard, we have this nice bench here and then stylized windows. Inboard of that, we’ve got hanging lockers and then each guest cabin has its own ensuite head.

Okay so walking out of our standard guest rooms, we’re going to head forward and check out the VIP staterooms which there are three of. And also note we’ve got a dedicated massage room here on the starboard side. This is the perfect place to relax, take in the day and reflect on your time onboard. Exiting the massage, we head down three simple steps, and then we’re going to enter into one of the 3 VIPs.

Heading into this VIP, a few things you’re going to notice is all these doors are really heavy, robust, rugged and the ensuite is very spacious. A unique design feature is the 4 round portholes. The portholes illuminate the athwartship berth as well as your VIP desk. So we’re going to exit the forward part here that has the 3 VIP berths and then we’re going to head down to the lower deck which has the crew accommodations and the mechanical space.

Here on the lower deck, what you’re going to see is we’ve got plenty of accommodations for crew. The boat can actually accommodate up to 25 crew members and it really has everything that they need here. Okay, so we’ve got the crew mess here. On the port side, we’ve got our galley area as well as you’ll notice we’ve got several water-tight doors through this. All the way in the back, this is our mechanical space.

The engine room is really split into two separate halves here. To the forward area, we’ve got all of our chillers, hydraulic controls, air conditioning, and things like that. In the aft, we’ve got our twin MTU 4000s. Now, this boat has about 700 total horsepower and that is again able to propel it up to 23-knots, has an efficient cruise at 17-knots.

And then all the way down at the 12-knot range you get into about a 5000 nautical mile capacity. So walking along you’ll see we’ve got the MTU engine controls here as well as the boat actually has three onboard generators. So this is your backup night-time generator and then you have two primaries on the starboard and port. A really neat function is on the port side, the engineer actually has a separate office where they can control everything and then do all their updates.

From here we’re going to head forward and check out the forward garage. I think we need to go up. Don’t you? It’s the laundry center, cold storage. There we go. So up here in the front, this is our forward garage area. Now what you’re going to see is I’ve got a nice sailboat here, I’ve got plenty of kiteboards, hydrofoils, bikes really all the water toys you could possibly imagine are stored up here in the bow area. Overhead here you’re going to notice that there’s a large hydraulic controlled hatch. So this lifts up and as you’ll recall, the crane on the bow of the boat can reach down here into the forward garage.
