I’m Chris Ollis with Denison Yachting. And today I’m here in beautiful and historic Charleston, South Carolina. I’ll be walking you through this gorgeous 2020 absolute 58 Nevada named ZINGARELLA.

When I’m walking down the dock to ZINGARELLA, one of the things that really jumps out and grabs me is her striking cappuccino-colored hull. It really stands out against the green of the water and the off-white gel coat of her superstructure. She displaces just over 73,000 pounds and is powered by twin Volvo IPS 700s with 550 horsepower each. Her beam is 16 feet 7 inches and she draws 4 feet 7 inches of water. She has a full Garmin glass cockpit at the helm in the pilothouse and on the flybridge, each with joystick control as well as another joystick docking station in the cockpit. There are lots of options when it comes to safely navigating into and out of tight marinas.

One of the things that I love about the boat is the integrated hardtop with an electrically actuated sunshade. The hardtop covers the flybridge helm and forward seated passengers and on those days when the sun is just a little too strong, the shade can be extended to just about double the covered area. I’ve heard it said that the party always ends up on the flybridge and certainly that will be the case with ZINGARELLA.

Another thing I love is the open and airy glass-enclosed salon galley and pilothouse on the main deck. It makes her feel friendly and inviting when entering the sliding glass entryway doors from the raised cockpit.

Let’s start today’s tour right here on her teak-covered hydraulic swim platform. This platform is capable of launching and retrieving a tender of up to 882 pounds. Boarding from here is made simple from the steps up from either port or starboard. Additionally, the boat was built with optional side access doors for when tying to a fixed pier and when boarding from water level may be difficult.

All right, moving through the transom door and walking through the crew quarters into the meticulously maintained engine room, we find both of the Volvo IPS 700s, a Cummins Onan 21.5 kW generator and if you’ve never tried sea keeper. This is the installation that will change your life. Right here in the middle just forward of the generator is the sea keeper 9.

There is a comfortable forward-facing banquette in the rear of the cockpit with an electrically operated sunshade just behind. Just forward of this is a beautifully finished teak table and folding chairs and forward on port are the stairs to the flybridge. Let’s head up there.

Stepping up on the flybridge and directly on starboard is this beautifully varnished teak table with seating for about 6 to 8 people. Across from that is a covered wet bar area with sink Kenyon electric grill and isotherm fridge below. Forward of that is more comfortable guest seating to either side of the helm and captain’s chair. Up here are Garmin electronics with twin 12-inch screens and Volvo controls. All the way aft on the flybridge are two teak chaise lounges and just forward of that integrated life raft storage. The area that the lounges occupy is large enough that if you wanted to replace them with the table and chairs, there should be plenty of room. Overhead is the hardtop and electric sunshade that I said was one of my favorite features earlier.

Let’s continue forward to the bow. Up here and just in front of the windshield you’ll find a forward-facing seating area and forward of that is a sun pad with an adjustable backrest for enjoying the ride while reclining and maybe enjoying a frosty beverage. There are large top-loading lockers on port and starboard for line and fender storage and lastly, all the way forward is the beautifully polished stainless anchor on a chain road that is handled by a powerful quick electric windlass.

Next, let’s step inside the salon. One of the features that make perfect sense to me is locating the electrical panel just a couple of steps inside the door. ZINGARELLA’s panel is located right here on port in a perfect place. On port and starboard in the salon is this buttery cream-colored leather sectional which is perfect for entertaining. On port side is the hideaway TV installation along with the equipment for satellite TV and a storage cabinet for glasses and flatware.

Up two steps and just forward to the salon is this beautiful and functional galley. It features a suite of Bosch appliances with an electric cooktop, a convection microwave, and a dishwasher. Just forward of that is this isotherm refrigerator and freezer combination. And the galley features plenty of storage above and below the counters. For the times that you’d like to separate the guests in the galley and in the salon, there is built-in a convenient divider.

Directly across from the galley is this spacious dinette with a teak table and seating for at least 6 people. Also here in the galley is a vent to remove heat and cooking odors as well as these two powered windows on port and starboard.

As we move forward to the helm station just below the pilothouse seating is this wine cabinet. Moving into the pilothouse and helm area, as I mentioned before this boat is equipped with a full suite of Garmin electronics with these two 16-inch side-by-side screens here and all of the electronics and controls located within convenient reach of the helmsman. One of the features that I really like is the pilothouse door which is located just to the right-hand side of the helm station. It makes it easy to step out here and see with your hand on the joystick you can see your proximity to the dock or if you need to help handle lines.

As we step below in the boat, we find 3 generously sized guest cabins each with their own ensuite head and all with separate enclosed shower stalls. I don’t think I’ve seen a 58-foot boat with heads that are this large and accommodating or that have this much headroom. The guest cabin on port features twin beds, an LCD smart TV, and each of the cabins below has its own set of heat and AC controls for finding that perfect sleeping temperature. The VIP cabin forward features a centerline queen that has plenty of room to easily climb into or out of either side. There is a lighted mirror and dressing table to port, a generous closet for hanging clothes on starboard, and a large Samsung LCD smart TV.

Down two steps and immediately on your right is this splendid combo washer and dryer unit. As we walked into the full-beam master cabin is a large dressing table and lighted mirror for getting ready for those nights ashore. Again just tons of storage everywhere including in this built-in cabinet on port and in the closet with drawer storage as well as plenty of room for hanging clothes. There’s another Samsung LCD TV on the forward bulkhead and a comfortable love seat settee on the starboard side of the queen bed.
