41 Beneteau Swift Trawler Walkthrough [Boat Review + Video]

 Good afternoon. This is Brian Nobles coming to you from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Wanted to introduce the new Beneteau ST 41. I do need to apologize in advance. We did just get this boat in stock, so there may be a few things out of stocks. I apologize for our dust, but let me go ahead and start out showing you some of the wonderful features on this boat.

An absolutely huge swim platform. Great for entertaining, for family, friends, the kids beautiful ladder. So if you guys are getting out of the water, you have this great swim ladder, which is fantastic for the little ones. Another wonderful feature on this boat is you can lock these into place, or you can go ahead and you can slide it right back.

See how effortlessly that was? Gives you a massive cockpit. Great for once again, entertaining or if you have a few extra people on board and these lock right into place just by right here, spring loaded and drop right down like that. It’s another thing to add to your cockpit experience. You can go ahead with this sturdy ladder.

You can loosen up this screw right here and this will fold right up against the door lock right in the place there, and you have a wonderful spot here. It could easily comfortably fit five, seven people almost in here. Another thing I love on this boat is you have a nice glass enclosure here, but you’re not actually enclosed all the time.

You can go ahead, open this right up as you see how easy it is and you go inside. Perfect, we’re on the fall nights when it’s not too hot. Of course not today because it’s like a hundred degrees and humidity.  Got to love Florida. So what’s nice is you have a great open air feeling. Wonderful, if you have people on board, you want to do some entertaining, but if you have like a buggy night or mosquitoes, you go right ahead, close up the screens and you’re all set.

Got a nice little summer cottage right here. So what’s nice is those go ahead. They fold right in. But as I was saying, you have your fridge and freezer right up here, which is fantastic. You’re not walking through the boat, trip some water on this nice hardwood floor. You do have a nice fusion system right here.

Easily accessible. All your batteries, your main control panel right here, very user friendly. And another great thing is you have storage all over this boat. Everywhere you look, there’s all sorts of cabinetry and cupboards. Wonderful. Great for storm pots, pans, cookware. Speaking of cookware, you have a nice little cooktop here. More storage access to the sink.

A nice ice maker right down here. Once again, very convenient. And what would you know? More storage. Great little spot right here for your TV. Little hideaway there. One of the coolest features on this boat. Absolutely love that. How that can just go ahead tucks right away. And if you notice right behind that as well is you do have curtains all over this boat.

So if you want to go ahead and get set up in a marina and have a little private little area of your own, you can close all the curtains right off. Very, very convenient. Moving right along, I’m going to go ahead and demonstrate to you the access to the engine compartment. This is powered with Twin Yamaha 320 horsepower engines.

Another excellent feature in this boat. I keep feeling, I say there’s all these wonderful features because there is, but you can go ahead and you can make this into a. Third sleeping area. As you see, the curtains can come right across. This table comes down and there’s a pad that goes right there. So great if you have a couple of younger kids, here’s even something even more unique with this. See, you have a whole family on board and you want to go ahead and we’re having dinner tonight. Check this out. How many people we could go ahead and we can fit right at this table. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Eight People.

You could, may not be a little tight, but you could technically fit eight people at this area here for eating. And this is nice. See, very little effort. Just lift her right up, you twist right around and clock her right into place. And that leads us right into the helm here. I’m going to show you something, a real unique feature if you’re kind of a shorter person.

That little device I just slid out is to give you that extra little foot or so if you need six inches to a foot so you can go ahead and see over your bow. You do have fully integrated electronics right here. So you have your autopilot, you have your radar. Everything’s tied right in. It is touchscreen. I think this might be one of the most user-friendly swift trawlers that I’ve ever operated myself.

As I say, everything is touchscreen, so you can go right ahead and very easily if you’re navigating heading somewhere. See it’s just touch of a button. And then of course you have your other buttons here for your anchor, your lights, windshield wiper, your autopilot, for your engines, your power up start stop buttons for the engines.

Your trim tabs, and of course your throttles, which are the twin Yamaha 320 horsepower engines. And for the captain operating the vessel. As you see, you have excellent visibility, so if you’re cruising along, open ocean or docking in a tight marina space, you do have a bow, stern, thruster, twin engines. But what’s even more convenient is you can go ahead, just pop your head right out and you can see just exactly where you are.

Go ahead, you have your bow thruster, your stern thruster, or you can walk your engines right back into the slip. Love this door. And once again, if you want to have that open, airy feel, we do have a screen door here. As I’m sure you’ll notice on this video. Check out all the space. You have to walk along right here.

I mean, this is for a 41-foot boat. You can actually turn around and everything. Another great feature if you’re going to single hand the boat is you do have a door right here, so if you pull right up to a dock, you can easily pop right off and hook your line right there. If you want to follow me right up front, we go up just a couple of stairs, come right up and check out this huge bow cushion area.

I mean, you could easily probably lay two people here with plenty of room still. You have your cup holders right here for your drinks and one of the coolest features just lift right up like that. And you can set it at different settings, but you go ahead. You have yourself nice little laundry here as you’re underway, or if you’re just hanging out at a sandbar in the islands can sit here and just enjoy the pretty views.

And as you see, it’s a very simple, just lift right up here on your bar and put it right back down into place. And of course, you lift up this cushion and you have access right down there into your master. As you come up here, you have your electric windlass, a storage locker for fenders and lines, and also your chain locker right here.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at that roomy fly bridge. Come on, join me right up these sturdy stairs. Take a look at all this room that we have up here. Put a couple deck chairs up here. More convenient. You have your grill cutting board sink and you have your fridge up here, so if you need to get somebody, a water drink or anything and some garbage.

So fully functional fly bridge. So you do have a very sturdy Bimini top, which is fantastic, especially in state of Florida. And you do have some heavy winds sometimes. Wonderful seating. Four probably fit up to 3, 4, 5, 6 individuals up here and still be comfortable. And this here a great feature. As you notice, I can go ahead and face this way.

Or we can go right ahead, put the chair that way. Now, face that way. Same for both sides, so you can keep your captain company as your underway. The electronics, the upstairs helm is identical to the downstairs helm. You have your throttles, bow stern thruster trim tabs, and of course the fully integrated touchscreen electronics.

Very user friendly, very easy to use. And to wrap up this walkthrough video, we’re going to go ahead and take a look at the cabin layout in this boat. An impressive three cabin, two head layout. On the starboard side, you have a single berth with a combo washer and dryer in there. On the port side, you have a twin berth, some nice storage in there as well.

And you also have your wet head on the starboard side, and a very impressive. Master stay room with the separate shower, which you do have a lot of room in here. I stand around five to 10. So if you take a look, somebody who’s well over six feet, they’re going to be okay in here. You do have some good room to go ahead and shower, and from the other side of that is the master head, which is quite roomy.
