45 Beneteau GT Motoryacht Walkthrough [Boat Review + Video]

My name is Brian Nobles and welcome aboard the 2022 Beneteau GT 45. Denison has just recently taken this boat in on trade, and I’m excited to show you all the different features and additional options she is equipped with. A few things that really stand out that I love about this boat is she does have a hard top with windows in them, unlike the GT 46.

The GT 45 also comes equipped with a tender garage and a back window that electronically opens up to give you a nice open airy feel. This is an ideal boat for friends, family, entertaining people shooting over to The Bahamas. She is equipped with a two cabin, two head layout, very spacious galley. Perfect forward doing a little weekend trip, or if you want to take the whole family and spend a week on her, definitely have the room to make that happen.

We’re going to start today’s walkthrough video up at the bow and go from there. And the main attraction up here at the bow is the sun pad area comes equipped with a nice little Bimini top. So if you want to get a little extra shade, have that capability, or you have a nice cover. If you’re not using this at all, keep it nice and out of the elements.

Right here is your excess hatch coming up from the VIP state room, and this locker here is access to your anchor chain. Also, if you want to keep some extra lines, fenders, anything, you have a lot of storage space down there. This is a great area for everyone to come up in here and hang out. If you’re at the sandbar, you’re on the hook, plenty of room for everybody to just come hang out and they have high rails, which is nice, so you don’t have to worry about somebody falling overboard. This boat does come equipped with a hydraulic swim platform, which is really nice because it does have the built-in chalks already. She’ll hold up to about 770 pounds or equivalent to a sea-doo spark.

And this right here is your grill very conveniently located. So if you’re anywhere sandbar, everybody’s hanging out the back of the boat, go ahead and make their burgers. There you go. And with the simple push of a button, you have access to the tender garage.

And what’s really nice is you have a lot of working room with your engine compartment. You simply just go ahead, open up this panel and right below that is the engine access to the Twin Volvo Penta 440 horsepower engines. And right forward to that is the Mace generator. Very good if you allow to do any oil changes or anything of that nature, a lot of room to work with.

Once the tender garage is lowered right here, you have a nice sun pad layout area. You have a hard top over you, so you do get some shade from the sun and you have a nice window which will go ahead pops right up so that way you can go ahead, give a nice open air feel on the fall days. So this boat was actually taken in on trade from a previous Beneteau owner.

He ended up buying another Beneteau boat, but with this one he ended up upgrading. He put a ghost security system in, additional speakers, a subwoofer. As notice noticed, there’s a couple of additional cameras, stunning for a boat with only 83 hours on her, and she is still under warranty as well.

Continuing forward, you have a little cutting board sink wash down area right here, ice maker and garbage. And just forward to that is a refrigerator. So with this table folded over, it just gives it a nice open up area. You have four cup holders here as well. Of course, a nice little hidden feature here. Push a button and TV pops right up.

So perfect for if you want to watch sporting tsp or anything. So sliding over to the captain’s chair, you have a nice little ledge down here for your feet which is very comfy. And right in front of you here at the Captain’s Home, you have your rocker panels for all your, turning on your electronics windshield wipers to open the roof, work in the windlass. Right here is the full navigational screen, so your sonar, your radar, everything is touchscreen. Very simple, very user friendly to use. Right here to my right, you do have a bow thrust on the boat. That is an additional option, and right below that is the ignition and start stop switches.

This here is access to your trim tabs, Lenko trim tabs. Right here you have your twin throttle controls and right behind that you do have your joystick for making you look like a pro at the dock with the pod drives. Right here you see a little wireless charging station bill right in dropping my phone right on there and she’ll go ahead and charge.

And on the cooler days you do have windows on both sides. Just pull them the handle and we’ll go ahead and slide right open. Let’s go ahead and check out downstairs starting out with the galley. Then onto the cabins. And coming down here to my left, you have the galley, which one of the things I really love about this, look at the size of this refrigerator and freezer, and right behind me, you have your sinks, your stove, and access to the microwave.

And you do have a lot of storage on this boat, which I really like in the galley area, garbage can, and some more storage on the left. And just across from the galley, you have a great little seating area with the high low table and something, you can go ahead, make that into almost a third sleeping area if you want to. Put that right down, put the cushion on it.

And right across from that is the TV. Could definitely be a comfortable place for somebody to sleep for the night. And just across from the seating area is a great little day head equipped with a shower. And in the VIP forward, another great feature that the previous owner added was a memory phone mattress.

Man, I could take a nap on this thing right now, but if you did remove this, there is a mattress underneath and you could lift up right here to split the beds in half, which is nice. So you can have two separate single beds. On each side, you’ll notice you do have a locker for clothes, towel, linens and right here you do have your TV and control to your air conditioning.

And lastly, the master state room, once again, equipped with a very comfortable additional mattress that the previous owner had added. You do have your hanging locker over here, and on each side, you do have little storage lockers. So once again, great for towels, linens, and in the master, you notice she’s equipped with a very nice size shower.

And of course the head right here sinks and a couple little storage cabinets for you, for your toiletries. And that concludes the walkthrough video on this gorgeous 2022 Beneteau GT 45.
