ZEAL, a 155′ Christensen built in 1997, was sold by Kurt Bosshardt, who introduced the Buyer. Katya Hall with IYC represented the Seller.

ZEAL can accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms. Her performance includes a cruising speed of 12 knots with a maximum speed of 16 knots. She features a bright sky lounge and bar with large windows and a socially designed upper aft deck complete with a wet bar and wrap-around teak decks. ZEAL went through a complete top-to-bottom 19-month refit that finished in 2017, bringing her to a better-than-new condition.

Kurt commented: “ZEAL is an iconic charter yacht. With an exceptionally talented crew, toys, and great food, she delivers the yachting experience that any charter enthusiast could hope for. Her buyers fell in love at first sight while she lay at anchor in the crystal-clear Bahamian waters. They would not deny her loyal patrons and, so, decided to keep everything as is. ZEAL, soon-to-be renamed SEA CLASS, is available from February 15th for anyone to enjoy!”

ZEAL stands out as one of the most successful charter yachts in the global fleet. Her established charter history is a result of her fantastic range of onboard features for large groups. Firstly, the onboard social areas. Her expansive sundeck is complete with shade sails, a four-person sun bed, loungers, comfortable helm seats, a BBQ, and a Jacuzzi.

The established yacht charter program onboard ZEAL is also a result of the amenities onboard. With abundant activities and toys to choose from, she has a huge appeal for those seeking an active experience on a yacht. A wide staircase leads down to her oversized swim platform, where guests can enjoy ZEAL’s large range of water equipment and inflatables.

Built by Christensen in 1997, ZEAL has a pedigree exterior design from the award-winning Donald Starkey. Her welcoming, contemporary interior is the work of Glade Johnson Design and benefits from a remarkable amount of natural light. The yacht’s shallow draft and substantial cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles ensure that even the most remote anchorages are accessible while onboard.

ZEAL is located in West Palm Beach, Florida and was asking $9,900,000 at the time of the sale.
