Denison superyacht broker Kurt Bosshardt has released a full walkthrough of this 140-foot Benetti Veloce superyacht, offering buyers a detailed look at one of the most technically distinctive hulls in the current mid-size market: the first example ever built on Benetti’s Veloce 140 platform, asking $16,950,000, currently based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Launched in 2014 from Benetti’s Viareggio yard, EMINA was the inaugural hull in Benetti’s fast displacement series and the debut of the patented D2P (Displacement to Planing) hull technology developed by naval architect Pierluigi Ausonio and Benetti’s R&D team. The D2P hull is engineered to deliver the fuel efficiency and seakeeping of a displacement yacht at lower speeds and the ability to transition onto plane for higher-speed running when desired. Exterior styling and concept are by Stefano Righini; interiors are by Redman Whiteley Dixon with a contribution from Joao Armentano. She measures 140 feet with a 27-foot 11-inch beam, displaces 375 GT, and draws 7 feet 11 inches. Her fiberglass hull is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M93L engines producing 3,460 horsepower each, giving her a cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 24 knots. A 9,246-gallon fuel capacity and fin stabilizers fitted for comfort both underway and at anchor round out the performance package.

EMINA has undergone a meaningful refit history and has recently completed an important milestone: her ten-year class survey. Rather than meeting the class minimum, her current owner exceeded the recommendations, completely replacing all legacy electrical systems including wiring, lighting, bridge electronics, and power converters. The practical result is a yacht that is mechanically and electrically in better condition than many younger competitors at her price point. She was also refitted in 2021. She accommodates 12 guests across 6 staterooms, including a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck made even more spacious by a private starboard-side balcony.
