The Numarine 40MXP is now available to explore on video. Denison superyacht broker Alex G. Clarke has released a full walkthrough of this 131-foot new construction Numarine, giving buyers an up-close look at one of the more thoughtfully evolved designs in the current midsize superyacht market: a 40-meter steel-hulled motor yacht built for extended cruising, priced at €20,900,000, currently under construction in Istanbul, Turkey, with delivery scheduled for 2027.
The 40MXP is a purposeful evolution of Numarine’s well-established 37XP platform, developed in direct response to client feedback. The primary change comes at the transom, where the traditional beach club and garage have been replaced by a jacuzzi and a substantially enlarged swim platform, extending overall length from 37 meters to 40 meters. That shift also allowed Numarine to move the aft main deck sliding doors forward by approximately three meters, enlarging the exterior aft deck considerably while preserving the generous interior volume the 37XP is known for. The result is a layout where outdoor and indoor spaces feel more balanced across all three decks. MXP stands for Mediterranean Explorer, and the model reflects that orientation: optimized for long passages, warm-water cruising, and relaxed time at anchor rather than high-speed running or tender-launch operations. Three hulls have already sold, with Hull #1 MIOUCH and Hull #2 MITAN both delivered in 2025.
This hull is powered by twin MAN D2862 LE 427 engines producing 900 horsepower each, giving her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 14 knots. Her 12,944-gallon fuel capacity and optimized hull form support a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 8 knots. The hull is steel, built and classed to RINA C + Hull Mach, Y Unrestricted Navigation standards. Exterior styling and interior design are by Turkish studio Can Yalman, with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini. Electric fin stabilizers reduce roll at anchor and underway. Three 70kW auto-sync generators handle onboard loads, including a 480,000 BTU central chiller system with individual fan coil control for each cabin. Electric bow and stern thrusters (90kW and 45kW respectively) are fitted, along with dual watermakers producing 230 liters per hour each and a full fuel polishing system. She accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 staterooms, including a full-beam main deck master suite and a full-beam lower deck VIP, with crew quarters for up to 9.
The video covers the key design features of the 40MXP platform from bow to stern, including the enlarged aft main deck exterior with jacuzzi and wide swim platform, interior living and dining spaces, stateroom configurations, flybridge layout with wetbar and sunbed area, and the systems and build quality that set this model apart in its class. Interior decor is fully customizable at the build stage, and the gallery includes completed photos of MIOUCH and MITAN to illustrate the range of available finishes.
For buyers in the 40-meter range, the 40MXP presents a strong case as a new-build option at a price point that competes with well-maintained used tonnage in the same size class. The build quality and class certification, combined with the ability to specify interior finishes and select from available engine and options packages including IMO Tier III-compliant powerplants, make this hull a compelling opportunity for an owner who wants a genuinely new vessel without the premium typically associated with fully custom new construction. A US Package is available at additional cost and includes shore power converters, US appliances, and compliant engine configurations.

Her optimized hull form, developed by naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, supports a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 8 knots, confirming her credentials as a true long-range explorer. The 40MXP replaces the 37XP’s aft beach club and garage with a jacuzzi, a double-wide swim platform, and an enlarged aft main deck exterior area. Moving the aft sliding doors forward freed up approximately three meters of additional outdoor deck space without sacrificing interior volume. Overall length increased from 37 meters to 40 meters as a result of the extended swim platform. The sundeck, boat deck, and interior layout options remain consistent with the 37XP. The 40MXP is designed for owners who prefer a more relaxed, swim-focused transom arrangement over a high-capacity tender garage.
The Numarine 40MXP includes electric fin stabilization, three 70kW auto-sync generators, a 480,000 BTU central chiller system with individual fan coil control per cabin, dual watermakers producing 230 liters per hour each, electric bow thruster (90kW) and stern thruster (45kW), electric twin anchor windlass with 18mm chain, twin stern capstan winches, a fuel polishing system, a 3,000 kg capacity tender crane, six underwater lights, a full Raymarine electronics suite with dual radar and chart plotter displays, satellite TV, and a 380V 125A dual shore supply with automatic frequency reclaim. An automatic fire extinguishing system is installed in the engine room.
The flybridge on the Numarine 40MXP is equipped with a full wetbar featuring a sink with hot and cold water, an electric barbecue, an icemaker, and a refrigerator. Teak decking is laid throughout, including the flybridge floor and stairway. A dedicated sunbed area with cushions is included. Flatscreen televisions with SAT connection are fitted in all guest cabins, the captain’s cabin, and the crew mess. Optional extended hard top configurations are available for additional shade in warmer climates.
Three Numarine 40MXP hulls have been sold. Hull #1, named MIOUCH, and Hull #2, named MITAN, were both delivered in 2025. Photos of both completed vessels are included in the listing gallery and illustrate the range of interior decor options available. This hull is scheduled for delivery in 2027 and presents an opportunity to specify interior finishes and select engine and options packages before construction is complete.
