I’ve been putting off posting this news, but today is the day. Zarozinia now has a new owner who adores her. Soon she will be in Panama, and from there will sail the Pacific. Kudos to boat broker.

When we let Mathew know that we were in Grenada and returning to Florida and our dream of sailing the Carribean was coming to an end, Matthew immediately had interested buyers. And when airports started shutting down and island borders refused entry for cruisers to even get gas and water, we left Zarozinia in Puerto Rico and flew home. In June Mathew had a buyer. He then flew to PR and sailed her home for us. Last Friday the sale was completed.

If any of you is interested in buying or selling a boat, Matthew Morrison is your guy. He’s been a top salesman nationwide for years. He has the uncanny ability to match people with the right boat and will do everything he can to make all concerned very happy, even well after the sale. He’s also an awesome friend. My husband and I just bought a Kadey Krogen in Stuart FL. Jeff Phillips was our yacht broker.

We actually met Jeff a few years ago when we were just thinking about trawlers. He drove many miles to show us a trawler that we saw in Holland Michigan a few years ago.

Then, last fall, we started searching for a boat to do the great loop. We looked at a Mainship in Chicago (we live in Chicago) and much to our surprise, it was Jeff who was the listing broker.

Based on things I was saying that I liked and didn’t like about the Mainship, Jeff said he thought I would like a Kadey Krogen. We had never heard of a Kadey Krogen though we have been boaters for years.

We came down to Stuart in January to the Kadey Krogen Open House and we fell in love with Lady Kadey. Jeff served as the buying broker and he was not only helpful, but also very engaging and responsive.
