Don is probably one of the most informed sales consultants we have ever meet. His proven approach to understand your needs has helped many sell their previous yacht and get them into the next yacht seamlessly.

Having only driven a smaller boat, I was intimidated by the process of purchasing a larger vessel. My first thought was to ask for help. I figured the best way was to search out a yacht broker. I went to the Denison website and saw they had a list of brokers with a short biography. I read about each one of their yacht brokers and one caught my eye, Mike Ebeling.

Don’t know exactly why, but he, being an ex-Texan seemed to resonate with me. I called him and left a brief message stating what I was looking for and my price range. He promptly returned my call. I thought to myself, ok, we are off to a good start.

Backing up a bit… I wanted a Broker to have the following characteristics: Patience; Knowledgeable; Not pushy; Easy to communicate with

Over the course of 6 months, Mike showed me many boats. Through his boating knowledge and being able to understand what I was looking for (I really didn’t know what I wanted), we ended up with a Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge powered by Cummins engines.

Since the sale, Mike has graciously given me lots of information, from where to get parts, to place to go in the Bahamas.

This is the longest feedback I have ever written, usually, it is a line or two, if any. But Mike deserves a great feedback. I would not hesitate to work with him in the future and I will suggest him, unanimously, when someone asks me for a referral.

Byron Shirley did a superb job representing and selling my Back Cove Yacht.

Byron analyzed an excellent cost comparison to other vessels which allowed an appropriate selling price for my boat. He was always prompt at answering any of my phone calls, and his communication skills with various professionals involved with the evaluation of the vessel were vital to the actual sale.

Byron enabled my vessel to receive great exposure on the yacht market listing network, and thus I received an excellent sales price with minimal time on the actual market. Denison Yachts and Byron are a great company to deal with, and I will use them again for any of my future yacht transactions.

I am writing to thank you for allowing us the privilege of working with Charlie King. A month ago I made an inquiry on the Denison web site indicating that my wife and I were in the early stages of our search for a boat for the Great Loop.

You forwarded our inquiry to Charlie King and shortly after he contacted us. Although we have owned various smaller boats, this will be our first liveaboard, and clearly the largest boat investment we have ever made. At first, we were hesitant to get too close to any single broker as we were not familiar with the buying process nor were we sure of what boats would fit with our needs. Well, enter Charlie King...

For 3 weeks we ventured through Illinois, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida in our quest. At first, we were working with Charlie over the phone setting up showings of boats. Very quickly it became clear to me that Charlie was someone special, rare and to be trusted. He never once became impatient, never rolled his eyes at our novice questions, nor did he push us to move faster than we were ready. He allowed us to learn as we crawled through various options. He understood that we needed to kiss a lot of frogs before we were ready to make our decision. Throughout it all Charlie patiently acted as our guide and professor of all things boat. He quickly understood he was working with a couple (still married after 27 years) and two people with sometimes differing needs and perspectives. He gently guided us and helped us come to our own conclusions.

Over these weeks he worked with us to clarify and question, and together the three of us became a team in our quest. Over the course of these last few weeks he drove hundreds of miles to meet us in various ports. Together we looked into cabins, lockers, bilges and climbed into engine rooms. Along the way he patiently taught us to look for the danger signs inherent to old boats and pointed out the nuances of each vessel. This man has a lifetime of wisdom about boats and beyond.  He made the entire process fun and he understood the buying process was as important as the outcome…

The bottom line is this guy rocks. I would recommend any potential boat buyer to work with Charlie to find their dream boat.

With Charlie's help we made an offer on what we hope is the perfect boat and today that offer was accepted. We hope to close in early spring and begin our Great Loop adventure this fall.

We will forever be indebted to Charlie for helping this dream come true.
