Dear Mr. Denison
I met Rodney a few years ago. I told him I want to purchase a Motor yacht and it would be a year or longer before I was ready to move forward. During that time period, I inquired about many yachts and talked with Rodney many times on the phone. He always answered my calls and sent me information on all the vessels I requested information on, even knowing I would not be making a purchase any time soon.
I recently told him I was ready to make a purchase. He sent me listings and information on several Motor Yachts and set up a schedule to view them. I arrived in Miami from Barbados and he met me at the airport and got me checked into a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. During the next week, we were looking at boats. I originally wanted a Horizon Motor Yacht. Somehow, he got me on a 68' Symbol Motor Yacht and am I glad he did. It was so much nicer than the Horizon. The Symbol looked as if it just came out of the mold and was in pristine condition. Needless to say, it surveyed extremely well and I am now the proud owner of that vessel and will be taking her to St. Thomas.
During this process, his son Chad Robertson, also a Yacht Broker at Denison helped out. Between the two of them, they took care of everything from A to Z. They negotiated a great deal for me, set up the survey and sea trial, got the vessel registered in my country, helped with insurance and took me to meet vendors for other items I purchased for the vessel. They also arranged to have my vessel loaded onto a Yacht Transport Vessel to be shipped to the Caribbean.
It was a pleasure to work with Rodney and Chad as a family team. Being away from my country, they made me feel at home and we have become good friends. They were always looking out for my best interest in every aspect of this process. Their honesty and integrity is of the highest standards. As Yacht Brokers, they know their business and are true professionals! I will be recommending Rodney, Chad, and Denison Yacht Sales to all my friends back in the Caribbean. Thanks for a great experience!
Sincerely,

Dear Rodney
I wish to express my sincere thanks for your guidance and the support you provided to Mr. Herve Henry the Captain Thierry Betuel while they were in Miami. As time was of the essence, the well planned organised schedule was highly appreciated. Your collaboration throughout and after the purchase of the "Gryphon" (96' motor yacht) has been very helpful. All the time and effort spent on the paper work and various steps encountered for the work on life rafts, fire extinguishers, engines etc...were really appreciated.
Thanks also for the warm welcome and assistance extended to Captain Jean Francois Labat and his team. He was very grateful for the cooperation you provided him prior to starting the journey.
For your info the boat is now safely in Mauritius, in fact it is currently being refurnished at our ship yard and should be back in the water within a couple of weeks.
I believe that your professionalism has really been a key factor in making this transaction a success. If you need any further reference concerning your "going the extra mile" approach for potential customers, do not hesitate to ask.
If ever you visit Mauritius, it will be a pleasure to meet you.
Best regards,
Colin Taylor
I just want to thank you and the Denison team for a job well done. I had been trying to sell my 30' Campion for nearly 3 years in Florida through another broker. Recently I moved the boat from my previous dealer to your organization. Within just weeks we got our first hit and a few weeks after that she sold. Given that my boat was relatively small compared to the majority of your boats I did not expect the personalized attention that Eddy Denison provided or the frequent updates and status that he provided. I could not have asked for a better broker than your team.
Thanks again for the terrific support your organization provided.
We engaged Alex Clarke as yacht broker to sell our 2008 Sunseeker Manhattan 50 and we just closed the sale after about 10 months of active selling in a tough market for this class of boat. We’d had the boat listed on the west coast for 18 months prior to listing with Alex.
Alex communicated well with me, which was critical to finding the right price and buyer. Once we set expectations, Alex worked as my agent fluidly and made consistent decisions that were key to securing the deal I wanted. When we made course corrections several times due to the changing market, he gave good guidance and executed well.
Over the course of the listing, we had two prospective buyers and a lot of interest. I was impressed by Alex’s ability to bring to my attention only serious buyers, something our other brokers had trouble with. His understanding of the prospect’s situation also helped with the negotiation, which I believe yielded a higher price as a result.
I recommend Alex as a broker based on his professionalism and sales ability - two thumbs up!
