Ari Sherr

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Ari grew up around boats, developing a deep passion for life on the water. Early on, he competitively sailed dinghies and ocean-raced larger yachts down the Australian coast.

After winning back-to-back Australian National Sailing Titles and spending three summers in Maine teaching sailing on the Belgrade Lakes, Ari pursued a degree in Nautical Science at the University of Tasmania.

With extensive experience both on the water and in the classroom, Ari spent almost a decade living and working aboard superyachts as a Captain and Chief Officer, traveling across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, New Orleans, and Alaska. When he decided to settle on terra firma, becoming a yacht broker was a natural fit.

Now, after nearly a decade in yacht sales, Ari has successfully sold over 4,000 feet of boats, helping clients find the right yacht. His expertise spans everything from 30' cruisers and trawlers to 300'+ superyachts.

Ari is a member of the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron and can often be found boating on Puget Sound. When he's not on the water, he's spending time with his three young kids, sharing his love for adventure and the outdoors.
