Ari Sherr

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Ari grew up around boats, developing a lifelong passion for the water. From an early age, he competitively sailed dinghies and ocean-raced larger yachts along the Australian coast.

After winning back-to-back Australian National Sailing Titles and spending three summers in Maine teaching sailing on the Belgrade Lakes, Ari pursued a degree in Nautical Science at the University of Tasmania.

With extensive experience both on the water and in the classroom, Ari spent nearly a decade living and working aboard superyachts as a Captain and Chief Officer, traveling throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, New Orleans, and Alaska. When the time came to settle on terra firma, transitioning into yacht brokerage was a natural next step.

Now, after nearly a decade in yacht sales, Ari has successfully sold well over 5,000 feet of yachts, helping clients navigate every stage of the buying and selling process. His experience spans everything from 30-foot cruisers and trawlers to 300+ foot superyachts.

Ari is a proud member of the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron and can often be found boating throughout Puget Sound. When he’s not on the water, he enjoys spending time with his four young children, sharing his passion for adventure and the outdoors.
