Day 1

Playas Del Coco

Most beach getaways are quiet and laid back. However, if there was ever a complete opposite of that stereotype, it would be just about every beach in Costa Rica, especially Playas del Coco. Here one will find beaches dedicated to parties, as well as beaches dedicated to quiet and relaxation. This party atmosphere is nurtured by the Costa Rican culture, which keeps parties going for months on end. Enjoy a few signature Costa Rican cocktails or choose from every imaginable seafood dish. Dozens of restaurants are right along the strip, which follows the safe and friendly beach.

Day 2

Puntarenas

Embark upon Puntarenas. A consistent break tide attracts surfers from across the globe to this lovely beach. Puntarenas is a vibrant mixture of locals and tourists. The highlight of the area is Isla Tortuga, which boasts the clearest and cleanest beach and water one will find in Central America. This day-long trip will surely provide an atmosphere of peace and quiet. Enjoy a day swimming in picturesque caves, sparkling waterfalls and various breathtaking landscapes. End the day with a delightful and memorable dinner at La Lada or Matobes.

Day 3

Jaco

Part of the city of Jaco is behind an enormous gated resort called Los Suenos. This area has a four-star hotel alongside one of the most elite and professional marinas in the world. Enjoy a day of golf on-site at a glorious course with monkeys and iguanas accompanying you at each hole. Grab some drinks at one of the handful of nearby high-class dining facilities. A sightseeing trip by water or offshore fishing charter is an absolute definite thing to do in Jaco. Simply step foot on the enormous dock and choose your captain by the number of fish he caught that day, or choose your captain by the smiling people who get off of his boat at day’s end.

Day 4

Quepos

La Mariposa Hotel is a distinct standout for the better things in life when visiting Quepos. Parador Resort and Spa is another retreat dedicated to catering exclusively to each guest. Since the jungle is nearby, the canopy tours are perfect for a couple or even an entire family to enjoy. Canopy Safari and Miguel Antonio Adventure Park provide zipline tours that last a few hours or a full day. The jungle atmosphere is lush in flora and animal life. If heights concern you, four-wheeler tours are also a memorable experience.

Day 5

Playa Golfito

Exploring botanical gardens and the lush jungle brings photographers and tourists from all over the world to Golfito. Horseback riding on the beach is a memorable experience that is always recommended. If you want a romantic night or just a quiet night of family bonding, camping out on the private beach will hand you the best night’s sleep of your life. Dock at the stunning new Golfito Marina Village to have close access to incredible activities and amenities. Paddle boarding, windsurfing and surfing lessons are all readily available as well.

Day 6

Playa Zancudo

Playa Zancudo is an extremely well-preserved natural sandy beach just a short distance from Golfito. This area is well known for its outdoor settings, as whale-watching, dolphin watching and sportfishing tours take the place of crowded bars and up-tempo clubs. The natural wonders of Costa Rica are preserved extremely well in the Playa Zancudo area. Camping out on the beach is highly recommended; however, waiting for the sunset has never been regretted by anyone in the history of this beach.
