Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best places to visit on a French Riviera yacht charter?

A French Riviera yacht charter can connect iconic destinations including Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Tropez, Nice, and Villefranche-sur-Mer. Cruising by yacht also gives guests access to quieter bays and coastal areas that can be difficult to reach by land, allowing an itinerary to balance glamorous ports with more secluded stops.

When is the best time to charter a yacht on the French Riviera?

The main charter season runs from May through September, with July and August bringing the warmest weather and busiest atmosphere. June and September are often appealing for guests who want warm Mediterranean conditions with fewer crowds, while May and October can work well for a quieter coastal experience depending on the weather.

How much does a French Riviera yacht charter cost?

The cost depends on the yacht's size, type, age, crew, amenities, itinerary, and time of year. In addition to the base charter rate, guests should generally budget for expenses such as fuel, food and beverages, marina and port fees, and other costs associated with the itinerary. A charter specialist can provide a more accurate estimate based on the yacht and trip requirements.

What can you do on a French Riviera yacht charter?

A charter can combine swimming and watersports with visits to historic towns, beach clubs, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and cultural attractions. Guests can spend the day exploring the coastline by tender, anchor for a swim in a secluded bay, or cruise into destinations such as Saint-Tropez or Monaco for dining and nightlife.

Why charter a yacht on the French Riviera instead of staying in a hotel?

A yacht provides a different way to experience the Côte d'Azur, allowing guests to move between destinations without packing, unpacking, or relying on coastal roads. It also provides direct access to the sea, secluded anchorages, and coastal scenery while keeping major destinations such as Cannes, Monaco, and Saint-Tropez within the same itinerary.
