DAY 1: Embark upon Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island

Puerto Ayora is on Santa Cruz Island, the second-largest island in the Galapagos. It is home to the Charles Darwin Research Center and the National Park of the Galapagos. A small collection of quality exhibits sets the tone for your vacation, as you will see how the Galapagos received its name. An array of mammals that only exists in the small island chain can be seen here. Hike the island and witness the plethora of interesting bird and land inhabitants.

DAY 2: Embark upon Santiago Island 

Named after the first island discovered by Columbus in the Caribbean, Santiago Island consists of two overlapping volcanoes. The amazing marine iguanas, sea lions, fur seals, land and sea turtles, crabs, dolphins and sharks can all be seen for long viewing or just in the blink of an eye.  

More quick eyes on the camera are taken here as such an enormous variety of land and sea animals are richly available.  

 

DAY 3: Embark upon Isla Marchena 

The island itself is not set up for foot traffic or visitors, but off the island offers some of the world’s most sought-after diving. Definitely take advantage of this if you are an experienced diver. If not, the wildlife will surely please you regardless.

 

DAY 4: Embark upon Island Rabida

On your journey toward the largest of the island chains, witness amazing marine wildlife. As you arrive, the dark red beaches will stand out in your mind for eternity.  

Enjoy the many sights and sounds that you have never experienced outdoors because they are inherently unique.

DAY 5: Embark upon Isabela Island

This being the largest island in the Galapagos, Isabela Island also holds more beauty than most in many travelers' opinions. There were longtime human inhabitants in this volcanic island, and its lavish clear beaches and vast assortment of sea and land wildlife make it highly discernible.

El Muro de las Lagrimas, a wall built by prison inhabitants of the island, is an interesting site as well on the south end of the island.

DAY 6: Embark upon San Cristobal

As one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos chain, San Cristobal has distinct insects, wildfowl and flowers only native to this specific island. A charming small town boasts a small airport, and amazing plants, animals and marine life surely make this island visit distinct and memorable.  

El Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is the main town on the island and has facilities for tourists.

 

DAY 7: Disembark Island San Cristobal

Only a small percentage of our world’s inhabitants have the pleasure of living with the Galapagos Islands and its unique and wonderful mammals, plants and bird species. This magical environment likely won't remain unchanged forever, so be sure to cherish every moment spent there.
