Southport Boats, founded in 2003, is owned and operated by second and third generation family members. Southport Boats sport a “Carolina” bow flare, wide beam, and elegant lines. Since 2011, Southport has implemented a variety of changes to improve designs such as vacuum infusion construction, upgraded wiring and plumbing, and vinylester resin to prevent water permeation. Popular for their dry ride, stable platform, and high quality finish, Southport Boats’ most recent success was the Southport 33 launched in 2014.

About Southport Yachts

Southport Boats, founded in 2003, is owned and operated by second and third generation family members. Located in Augusta, Maine, Southport’s first boat was launched in Leland, North Carolina, where the company joined forces with C. Raymond Hunt Associates to create a new boat design.

Southport’s special hull design was developed by the Hunt team with the goal to maximize the performance of modern dual outboards. Southport Boats sport a “Carolina” bow flare, wide beam, and elegant lines. Popular for their dry ride, stable platform, and high quality finish, Southport Boats’ most recent success was the Southport 33 launched in 2014.
