History Of The Vessel

Originally built by Stephens Brothers Boatworks in Stockton, California; a custom builder of motoryachts, sailing craft, small craft, and various runabouts.

Sea Stag II was commissioned by the Stagnaros family of Santa Cruz as a thrill ride and passenger carrying craft; a business venture that would compliment the family's fishing charter operation. Sea Stag II operated for many years off of Pleasure Pier and was a draw for tourists and full time residents alike.

Originally powered with a Hall Scott Defender V12 engine, she was capable of speeds over 40mph. The boat has been comprehensively restored and refitted. Full replacement bottom, stunning mahogany decks and interior, custom upholstery, all new wiring and gauges.

A bow thruster has been added for ease of maneuvering and she is now powered by a Cummins QSM7 engine which produces 660hp. Sea Stag II is a stunning large runabout that will turn heads wherever she goes!
