Race Ready Accommodations

The interior is shipshape. It is faired and painted with Awlgrip. The cushions are navy blue with teak and holly floorboards.

The forward cabin comes with a single pipe berth, storage locker, and a huge area for sail storage. Head is located just aft and is the full width of the boat that includes a hanging locker, storage locker for four sea bags, vanity locker, shower, sink, and head.

The main cabin starts just aft of the mast and has a large centerline table with a 12" wide recessed tray top for handy storage. Inside the table box, is stowage for a life raft in an ingenious design. Lower berths, P&S, provide seats with settee and backrests that lift up to make adjustable sea berths. The lower berths are also adjustable to the hull angle for comfortable sleeping underway.

The galley is just aft to port and extends over 7'. The sink is under the companionway, steps on the centerline have pressurized water, and manual fresh/saltwater pumps. There is a 2-burner propane stove with oven/range, counter space with 3 drawers, and huge storage with 7' of lockers.

The refrigerator and top-loading freezer are outboard. Super efficient refrigeration with freezer. The refrigeration has a mechanical engine drive. The freezer easily freezes everything. Ice cream has no problem after 3 days at sea.

Opposite the galley to starboard is a bench seat with underneath storage, a hanging locker, plus 3 large lockers that stow up to 9 duffel bags. Next aft is upper and lower adjustable bunks, P&S, with the navigation station on centerline facing aft with overhead portholes to communicate on deck.

The layout is very functional, comfortable, and efficient for distance racing or cruising
