As you enter Bella Mare from the swim platform, you step on to the aft teak deck, which can easily accommodate six people. The side decks to port and starboard are protected with overhang and provide access to the bow area. Access to the bridge and upper helm is located to starboard. Port and starboard salon access is via sliding doors.  Additional exterior door accessing galley area. Aft and down 4 steps is the master suite, head and laundry room. Moving forward from the galley, is the pilothouse/salon area with helm to starboard. From the centerline, stepping down is the port side guest stateroom with bunks and adjacent starboard guest head. Forward is the second guest stateroom with over/under bunk configuration. The engine room is accessed via a door in the guest port side stateroom.

DeFever's ever popular 48' tri- cabin layout has been in production for over 25 years. The open floor plan with galley, salon and pilothouse configured on the same level is exactly the layout the current owners find most appealing. The quality of workmanship is seen throughout. The interior is finished off with light golden teak paneling. The galley is located aft of the salon and has an abundance of storage cabinets and drawers. A port side pass thru connects galley with the salon area. Outboard the double S/S sink and aft of the cooktop there are two galley windows for cross ventilation. The Corian sandstone counter space is expansive. Galley features include a Norcold two-door refrigerator/freezer, Princess 3 burner ceramic cooktop, custom stemware rack, built in trash bin, Delta faucet with single lever, Microwave w/carousel, Princess oven/broiler, and the U-Line ice maker machine.

Fully equipped lower helm station is a major design aspect of the 48 tri-cabin design.  Complete lower Helm. Controls including, GPS,VHF, chart plotter, stabilizer controls, depth and speed indicators, anchor controls, auto pilot controls and remote unit, and other safety devices. The lower steering station is located to starboard.

FORWARD STATEROOMS are down from the salon and to the port and forward. The port side stateroom has bunk beds with large hanging locker and drawers. This area is also access for the stand up engine room. Across from the port stateroom is the guest head with separate shower stall. The forward stateroom has a over/under bunks to port with drawers and hanging locker. TV flat screen mounted on forward bulkhead. Separate Air Conditioning with digital controls for both guest staterooms.

Master Stateroom 

The master is located aft with centerline queen bed with fitted sheets, comforter and designer pillows. Night stands frame each side of the bed. There is a desk/makeup table, an abundance of hanging lockers and chest of drawers. Additionally, four opening port lights,blinds and custom drapes, carpeting, custom wine racks built in under stairs, separate AC/heat, three reading lights, and 12 volt fans.

There is an ensuite head with separate shower stall.

Adjoining the master stateroom is the laundry with a 5 cycle top loading washer , ironing board, clothes line, and shelf space with drawers and portlight.  The washer needs to be replaced by the new owner.
