Designed by Naval Architect, Ed Monk, with structural engineering by Tim Nolan and fluid dynamics by Ed Hagemann, the Nordlund Xpress LT 57 is a unique boat.  It combines traditional styling with light-weight, high-tech composite construction to create a vessel that is fast, strong and remarkably efficient.

The builder, Nordlund Boat Company, typically produce custom super yachts, so they are no strangers to quality.  They brought that expertise to bear in every aspect of this craft.  From water-tight compartments to Belgian fabrics, their craftsmanship is apparent.

If you are looking for a boat that is fast enough to race to the islands, strong enough to cruise Alaska in safety, and do it all without guzzling fuel, you owe it to yourself to view this fine vessel.

Engines serviced to Caterpillar specifications.  The last major Interval IV service was done at 1500 hours.

On a recent sea trial, we ran the boat at around 26 knots at 2500 RPM and burned 58 GPH.  Dialing the speed back to 20 knots the fuel burn dropped to 34 GPH, and then at 15 knots it went down to 20 GPH.

With the stabilizers engaged, the ride is smooth and dry.  And even with the engines at wide open throttle, it's quiet inside the wheelhouse.
